this is a simple cause of value vs vanity, hype vs reality, and looks vs functionality. I know I'm about to piss a lot of people off, but it's time for Iphone users to face the fact that dollar for dollar the Samsung is much better buy.
the speaker on the Samsung sounds louder but cheap on the other hand the iphone's volume is smooth and crisp, cheap plastic vs stainless steel and glass isn't it obvious iPhone quality is higher quality, the camera is better, the colors in the Samsung are too saturated unlike the crisp retina display, the 2 good things SGS2 is processor little higher and bigger screen but not better of coarse since iphone has more ppi oh n the 2mp front facing n touch wiz is nice
Samsung can't make phones small , thin and smart in the same time ... They make a 7 inch phone just to have space for the battery processor and other stuff ...
As an HTC user, I don't really like Samsung products much, but as a fellow Android user, I'd have to say that the iPhone got iBlown :) Both the GS2 and the HTC Sensation are amazing phones (I own a Sensation), and I'd really like to see what Samsung and HTC come up with in the future, unlike the iPhone, where you get half of what you pay for, and you get it half a year after the competing companies have already released their newest products, which are already better than the upcoming iPhone.

I have not used Android yet, but I plan to. iOS is simple. Never tried Android. But I started disliking Apple products because the bottom part of my iPod Touch 4g screen cracked so badly, the physical home button is falling apart. It's a nuisance to click the home button now. The iPhone still has no 4G. I'm not sure if it still drops calls. It's like $650 unlocked and the S2 is around $580 unlocked on Amazon. The phone breaks so damn easily. Did you see the drop test? Go on YouTube and search for the "S2 vs 4S drop test" video. Do I really want a phone that breaks THAT easily? I do think that the iOS platform is simple though. But it's not as customizable unless you jailbreak. I'm an Apple fan too, but this time Samsung wins. Sorry, Apple. :(
@lilehful First of all, you can have the most amazing accessories for the iPhone like lenses, battery cases, regular cases (while providing a superior protection to your device, it also looks nice). iOS platform is the best so far because on Android the platform has to be customized for almost every android phone so it's really hard. And with the jailbreak it feels astounding, there are more themes, there's more customization. If you have an iPhone I can send you the links to do all of that. :)
@crni195 Ever heard of HTML 5 dude?? flash is history youtube, dailymotion, etc are rapidly converting their videos to HTML 5 and guess who has it? The iPhone and that 1 sec faster loading time is of no use because that difference is almost negligible. And trust me dude iOS is better than android. First of all iOS is faster at rendering pics, open source is way more vast in iOS=more themes, more customization. If you don't prefer jailbreak, iOS is way safer as it is way less prone to malware
i know what is htlm5 but i also know that only 1% of sites are using htlm5..for now flash is used way more and thats why i would like to have it on my iphone.

the speed tests are misleading because app has an opening animation while it is loading whereas the samsung galaxy just makes the app appear when it is done.
