Fucking kickass heater dude! I rigged up a single barrel stove in my garage this winter. I've got a tank that I dump used oil in thats gravity feed on the upper floor like 12 feet above the stove. Got a metal line running down to a needle valve that drips into the barrel stove onto the wood and coal mix I burn. Makes some wicked heat!!
Yeah, i hear ya man, we got that fire extinguisher before we even fired it up. People are gonna pass out drunk in that place, and if it lights up, i want them to have a way out.
On the back it says, use no oil heavier then No-1. I think diesel is No-2. But i've been running diesel in it for 2 weeks now, works fine, makes alot of soot inside though. Bad. i think motor oil would be too thick, and it would not burn easy enough. the fuel just drips inside, and burns in the bottom of the burner. doesn't vaporize it or anything, just drips :)

It runs on diesel or heating oil, right? Would it be possible to mix it up with used motor oil to get a even cheaper way of heating?
