hahaha... proton 1st debut featuring bryan bouffier as the driver.. managed to finish in 6th place before the mechanical problem occur..

On IRC champ? :) Yeah,skoda lead first day on IRC rally Monte carlo,second car had technical problems,finished 4! Skoda on first start on IRC champ. creating absolut great impression for many people. No offence.Bye

Both cars seems to be great, impressive leading for Skoda in Monte Carlo, great results for Proton in the beginning of Irish WRC rally, so i think both cars could make a good results in the future.. BTW, Bouffier is a great driver, we know him from my home Barum rally.. Wish good luck to all crews and both cars!

yea, i think and may believe that proton neo can be a very competitive car... rally ireland, proton team managed to finish in 3rd place which mean, a very good result for a very 1st debut in a rally event.

They will be back at Monte 2009, but not in WRC but in IRC championschip 2009 with Kopecký & Hänninen behind the wheel.

Sorry, but Patrik Sandell will not take part in IRC champ! He will start in PWRC catagory of WRC, but Hanninen & Kopecky are official drivers of factory Skoda Motorsport Team and they are participants of IRC champ, so diffeent type of rallys..
