@derekmok more shotos ? there is only 3 in the game as is. Its no worse than adding both the twins. Plus they have already made new characters , seth, rufus, el fuerte, abel, hakan, gouken, thats alot of new characters for 1 game. I would be really happy if they include evil ryu in the game not just as a boss, then I can message all the salty ass hoe's after my evil ryu beats on you nicca's like Dr Dre's drums. Also Daigo has been losing due to the SSF4 nerfs, so they will bust out Evil Ryu

@BIGGBAGA That depends how you define "shoto". I'm not a "pro" player or anything but my understanding is it is a character based on Ryus style with a vertical uppercut, horizontal kick & projectile using the same inputs as Ryu. In that case there is 6 or 7 shotos. Ryu, Ken, Dan, Akuma, Sakura & Sagat are 6 and Gouken makes 7 if you count him as an inverted shoto (horizontal/vertical switched). At a stretch, you could add Seth as he has those 3 things with the same inputs.

@Drakulbites That means there is 6 - 8 shotos already with another 2 being added in AE. That would mean about 1/4 of the games roster would be shoto. That does seem a bit much. As of SSFIV there are 8 shotos (10 as of AE), 8 charging, 3 grapplers & 16 miscellaneous. IMO, I think we need another grappler. Everyones taste is catered for well enough but grapplers like myself are stuck with just 3 characters.

@Drakulbites shotos are defined also by a hit box they all share, actually thats the main defining attribute.

sagat is not a shoto neither is dan or sakura. gouken i dont remember so maybe
