this charter is a contract between two legal fictional entities, a 'person' and the 'corporation Of Canada'...wasn't written for human beings, only for those who foolishly got a SIN (slave identification number)and registered their kids at birth....once you figure this out, it's quite liberating.
39. (1) Every one who is in peaceable possession of personal property under a claim of right, and every one acting under his authority, is protected from criminal responsibility for defending that possession, even against a person entitled by law to possession of it, if he uses no more force than is necessary..The KEY is a claim of right...or Lawful excuse = claim of right...no claim = PERSON...I am not a PERSON! If we remain a PERSON we are asking or begging for this.. Wake up...
The Charter of Rights and Freedoms is a lovely concept, but people, however, seem to possess a different perception of freedom, and thus, an entirely different charter within society.
By the same token, George Bush seemed as though he understood this charter in his decision to bomb Bahgdad. This freedom was also displayed in Nagasaki and Heroshima.
I cannot state firmly that due to the spontaneous genetic and geographical accident of my arrival to earth that I am proud to be a Canadian, or Chinese, or Belorussian, or ... I can only state, however, that I am pleased, happy, and content with my temporary joys of living in Canada.
During random road blocks in Coquitlam BC, the charter is violated by the police.
Just two days ago during a road block, I was asked where I came from, where I was before that and where am I going. Last that I checked Canada was not a police state but they do this all the time.
I told the cop that I don't consent to answering these questions and he pulled me over. Made me get out of the car, took my drivers license and registration papers.
have you ever read the Charter?? it is unreal how much it contradicts its self, especially with the way Canadian's of the Visible Minority are treated, even that term alone is racist, and the government uses the term on a daily basis. Just because stuff is written on paper does not mean that it is acted out to the full extent of what it entails.
fuck the canada human right

Who has benefited most from the Charter? Drug dealers. Murderers. Pedophiles.

"Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law."
I used to love this preamble, because it was a cute preamble, then I found out what GOD they were talking about (Her Majesty)
read section 32 of your beloved charter, you will find that it has nothing to do with MAN sets out to lay CORPERATION rules.
this is a cute intro, but misinformation is there- this charter was not made for "human-beings. by human-beings."

Detained me for 10 min then let me go.
