It's not a great game, but any game that isn't worth buying for $10.00 is better thrown into a landfill. I haven't even seen Data Design games available for less than $10.00 at GameStop yet.

Second, the Ratchet comparison is very understandable; many of the same folks are behind it, Bionic Games (the developer) was sort of a sister company of High Impact Games , which in turn was founded by Insomniac (and Naughty Dog?) folks (basically from Insomniac, to High Impact, then to Bionic).
As far as I know, Bionic closed down and at least some moved back to High Impact, now working on Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension for Wii and PS3.
I keep forgetting about this game. Every Gamestop in town has it available. Will get it this weekend. I could go for a mindless fun brawler that my son and I can play together
Fuck. Yes. Big Bad Beetleborgs reference! I haven't seen that show in so damn long... Great review, Craig, I remember this being absolutely torn to pieces when it was released, but you seemed much more fair about it. On that note, are you reviewing Dark Void? Because that feels like a similar situation to me; average, fun game is bent over the table by "professional" reviewers, with people like you actually being fair about it.
this game is actually hard. i think i died pretty quick my first time although i was playing by myself. waiting for your tatsunoko vs capcom review. I have been playing it none stop. ken the eagle and joe the condor FTW!
i always like to see the critic average scores compared to the user scores on Metacritic. Guess what? Although the average critic score is 69 out of 100, the average user score is 80. It doesn't surprise me since this is a title published by CAPCOM and developed by Bionic Games (Ratchet and Clank, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty anyone?).
this game is 3 doloars at game stop right now XD lol might get it from games stop for my bro thanks for the awsome review

Great review! Just needs to be in better quality. :P
First, would you ever consider putting up a playthrough? There's hardly any and the only one that seems complete has horrid audio. X_x

@boomboi00 Yeah, you unlock it with experience points. There are a few other simple moves too, like blocking, for instance.

Woah! Grew up watching Big Bad Beetleborgs nonstop, that was a great show.
