If I had only bought the damn phone, I've got the 2nd gen touch which I understand is not exactly jailbreakable. Jailbreak is fun and all but if apple can at least add some sort of backrounding feature, I mean this app doesn't even look so complex.
hey brah get Beejive im for it shows how many new messages you have received while outside the app =] only problem is with these instant messeging apps and backgrounder they have the tendency to malfunction such as disconnect, not receive messages and just act funny does this happen to you as well ?
Can you run youtube or music from ipod in the background?

they didnt include multi-tasking because they claim it decreases battery life
