@370zking at least 350z doesnt have cooling issues... 370z will be faster for the first two minutes lol! 350z HR>370z... the reason why 370z had the advantage was that this was the DE one which is much slower
@stevedhenning lol! yes i do.. as long as the 350z is an HR one (07-08) it will be faster than the 370z, 370z has cooling issues look it up bro.. if the 370z had an aftermarket oil cooler than its a different story because it wont raise oil temperature and it wont retard timing nor enter limp mode will being driven hard..
@Dani01c yup ur right every time i go to the track they only last 2 laps at streets of willow before they go to limp mode sadly would ruin track day and 350z HR are good i wish i got one but ended up with a rev up daytona blue got me lol
in 07, they got a new motor (VQ35HR) that revs to 7500 stock. It's considerably more powerful than the older motors. Lots of dudes are revving them to 8k with a chip, no problems.
I'm a 350Z owner and I wanted to give HUGE props to the 350Z car (and driver) for not only keeping up with a more powerful and possibly better driven 370Z but threatening the 370 the whole way. For anyone that says the VQ engine sucks,, watch this video and eat a d1ck!

do you realize that the cars are absolutely the same? like they stasrted they arrived in the same seconds.. if the sterting order was inverted the 350 would have been the first for all the race..

plus, the guy driving the 350z probably has a lot more experience (years) with that specific car while the 370z, which is new, probably has a driver who has less experience with that exact car...

Why not put our best on the track and prove them their so people won't just guess that there better?

it's because of ego.. the japanese can put their egos aside and jus hav fun and laugh at eachother.. but it's not that easy in the west.. the mentality is so competitive.. makes it difficult

they need another run where the 350z is on the inside on the first turn on the first lap, thats the only reason the 370z was ahead, it didnt drive any faster they were head to head.
technically 350z has been out since 2003 so they had time to perfect the car on the other side 370z it just came out so in other words give it one or 2 years and then give it a go i doubt 350z would be able to keep up even if 350z was put inside

in 07, they got a new motor (VQ35HR) that revs to 7500 stock. It's considerably more powerful than the older motors. Lots of dudes are revving them to 8k with a chip, no problems.

I think that 370Z may have been stock. Either way both are amazing cars You can't go wrong with buying either one
