  • Sorry but if any one watched "film" in 1983 it didnt take long to realise how dumbed down this mini series and its sequal were. This is a great example of the average TV garbage which helped make HBO Showtime (and for those in LA) The Z Channel such a refreashing success. The direction and most of the acting is highschool (no offence meant to high school drama prod.) level at best. And the script is completely pedestrian. The end of the sequal is one of the worst. MST3K material!!

  • One person accidentally hit the wrong thumb

  • The remake of V is such crap compared to the original. I feel sorry for the generation that came after me. Substandard crap is the best they're going to get in music, entertainment, etc.

  • @melfaery i agree with u but the new series for my sorprice is not a remake is a continue : they show that anna have diana in a dungeon and lot of shits (crap)

  • @mrwertyuiop459 It's a remake. In original it was revealed to all of Earth the aliens were there only to steal the water & eat them. Why would they come back & still have people who think accepting their charitable acts is a good idea? Every country would've aimed a nuke at the first ship they saw after the first visit lol

  • @melfaery yeah but in this serie they dont need water they need A.D.N and what abaut diana in the dungeon and the story is a lot diferent ( A LOT)

  • that intro music rocks. Sure it's a ripoff of north by northwest, but I donn't care, still good stuff...

  • this was HUGE in the 80's and still pretty darn compelling and good!

  • The new version is bullshit and a big joke compared to the 80s one...

  • i like this version o classic 1984 v and 2009 version too im a fan of v its cool thanx for uploading

  • the original anna now plays a mother to the new anna...great stuff

  • Fuck yeah credits

  • i grew on on this series in the 1980's. the new v 2010 is crap. boring, slow paced and silly. much better technology off course but v from the 1980's is miles ahead of the new junk. i guess if you grew up in the 80's as a kid(me 13 and 14 in 1983-84) you would love it. new generation like the new one. i just ordered v miniseries and v:final battle so my wife can enjoy it. she was too young or cannot remember v in the 80's. she was 6 or 7 at the time.

  • Can't wait for tommorow night!

  • "V" the Series ala Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man"

  • One of the very few tv shows I enjoy, only way I found it was because I am obsessed with Robert Englund and when I found out he played Willie I just HAD to watch the series...I finished the serires today and I give it an A++

  • Everyone in my house back in the 80's immediately dropped whatever they were doing, turned off all the lights, and sat around the TV when this first came on

  • Those who missed the 80's really missed out.

  • Thank You for uploading this i grew up with this series you bring me back in time

  • Just posting to say I agree with all the people who think this theme is a complete rip-off of Bernard Hermanns main theme from North By Northwest.

  • is the newer version good or bad cause I've just started getting into this series(original)and I really like it started on it today on Sky 123(UK)

  • @TylerLav118118

Everyone will give you a different take on this. I think the new one starts ok, gets boring, and then gets better at the end of the season. The pace becomes painfully slow in mid season relative to this V (where the aliens pretty much screw us in 30 mins lol).

For old fans there will be a number of annoying things I wont get into. Characters are not as good either.

But, its still worth watching imo. Falls short of the old one in anything except effects though.

  • One of the best TV series ever aired. And I say that as a Brit who grew up on a diet of the best television in the world.

  • Loved the song too

  • I LOVE this series!

  • I loved this series as a kid. I can't believe I never realized Evan Kim was in this. He was Loo in the "Fistful Of Yen" segment of Kentucky Fried Movie. :)

  • @BaddGirl420 Do it again! With feeling!

  • I never saw the origional mini-series before, but i LOVE the remake on TV now, so I decided to see if I liked the origional! :)

  • The remake sucks compared to this. I knew there was an original, but I decided to watch the remake without even knowing about the original. The original quickly lost my attention because it had to much dialogue, and not enough action. I am currently watching the original on Netflix Instant Que on my Xbox, and it is wonderful! There is at least one shot of action every 3 minutes! AWESOME! The remake will never live up to be as good as the original!

  • This was a masterpiece,i was 11 when it was first aired, blew me away.

  • I loved this as a kid, noticed it today for first time on DVD. As for the remake; I like it. I dont usually like remakes but this one is good so far

  • ya know Robert Englund was in this show to

  • Loved this as a young teen growing up in the 80s. I gotta love bad assed Jane Badler/Diana. Oh,go see the Robot Chicken parody where the Visitors fall to Human booze and canoot bear the tolerance to Earth alcohol like Humans' can-parody to War Of The Worlds to common bacteria.

  • the new series sucks donkey dingers!

  • Jane Badler was so sexy I would tell her what ever she wanted to know.

  • I was so young when this originally aired and I have been spoiled by the original.

The new V has a lot to live up to! Its no BSG. But it is watchable so i will stick with it.

  • @SewerRatie sorry for my ignorance but whats BSG?

  • @MrJizmonkey BSG = Battlestar Galactica

  • @SewerRatie The new V series lacks action and is so slow nothing happens

  • I actually prefer the new remake.

  • No way....the remake is horrible!!!

  • thank thank you for uploading!

  • I had my first wet dream about Jane Badler..............what a knockout!

  • erica overkill maybe - lost still running - anyway older episodes watchvstreaming^dot^info

  • Bonnie Bartlett is from "THE GREAT LOS ANGELES EARTHQUAKE" (DVD)

  • is this the show where they'd peel off their human faces?! cause if it was it scared the s%$t outta me as a kid. great show tho!

  • God, I LOVE this series. I grew up on this stuff.

I hate remakes but at least because of the new "V" the original miniseries was released onDVD.

Just picked it up, along with the original miniseries and The Final Battle.

Ah what memories! Long live the 1980's!~

  • Actually, just to let you know, they were released on DVD in 2001....

  • A little fact check is in order here.

The original miniseries and The Final Battle were released on DVD by 2002. In 2002, Kenneth Johnson was still trying to negotiate with Warners to get a substantial sequel to V made, not this tepid rehash that entirely misses the point.

  • what no willie , played by robert england

  • is this based on a real story

  • "V" is classic. If you look for special effects and space battles - this series is not for you.

It is all about resistance fighters, apparently hopeless and badly equipped militias fighting powerful and technologically superior armies.

Some of the characters are great (Abraham Bernstein, Ruby, Robert Maxwell, Elias Taylor and of course Ham Tyler) some are not (Robin Maxwell, Steven, Eleanor Dupres) but watching "V" is much more than just entertainment.

  • Comment removed

  • yeah right all it is is special effects. the original is way better

  • Comment removed

  • This is based on a true story and I should now I lived through and was a top resistance fighter. I even got to fuck Dianas slippery slimey ass. She gave a hell of a blowjob with her long ass tounge. To bad I had to decapitate her fine ass. AAAA those were the days.

  • I forgot all about this until i saw the new trailer, Now i know were david icke get the reptilian conspiracy from.

  • badinfluence - I completely agree.. I said it jokingly but hve been re watching and it is quite eerie - not just some things but EVERYTHING... no wonder the new version is completely screwing it up. Necessary education.

  • This is so much better than that shit I saw last night. All it has is better graphics. Please people if you can't make better than don't do it in the first place.

P.S. there will never be another Diana.

  • I totally agree with you!!

  • Comment removed

  • that sounds so.... wrong

  • You can watch it all in one film at google video.....

  • what do u search for? i tried--didn't find.

  • I went onto Google video and searched for " V the mini series part 1". It's nearly two hours long, good watch.

  • i uploaded it, there is a part 2 but they took it down :)

  • So it doesnt go from part 1 to the final battle then ? I knew i was missing something...

Cheers for the upload Bro', nice one

  • No there is another part after but i may try and get it past them again :) and upload it, part 2 is hour and half or so...did you see they are remaking it,? check ABC "V" TV SERIES PILOT PROMO TRAILER in you tube, starts saturday. but I'm in the UK so have to try and watch online somewhere.

  • I just checked and we can watch the new series on abc's website. Happy days. Thanks for the other upload, you got me hooked.

Have you ever heard of Credo Mutwa ?

  • The Beastmaster

  • I liked the idea of them sending a message to other aliens at the end. But "v the final battle" completely dropped that plot.

  • This was my fav show when I was growing up... hope the new show will do it justice.... looking forward to seeing it.

  • Holy shit, The Visitors !!!! I remember this series as a 11 years-old kid in Italy ! It scared the shit out of all us kids, we would get to school the following day and tell about the mouse-digesting woman...truth is,we never saw an episode because it was too scary, but now I am going to EAT this series! Even as kids we could tell it kicked ass and wasn't the average family TV sitcom. Thank you xdomino9

  • This show scared the hell out of me too as a kid

  • yeah me too what about that baby birthing scene!

  • This series was without a doubt the best chunk of televison of my childhood! Can't believe they have done a remake,it doesn't need updating, this one still holds up to this day! Hollywood/Networks etc have just run out of ideas and they keep cannibalizing themselves..shame :( by the way have you noticed how much the score to this original series sounds like the score to North by Northwest??,have a listen and compare the two.

  • yeah what they need is the second generation in LA or have one that is like in Washington D.C

  • Yeah. It's not just alike, it's identical. They just made their own arrangement.

  • @spacetimecontinuum I had hoped they would do something amazing with the remake, and although the effects etc are dated , this blows the new one out of the water, it feels so much darker and global.

I was told recently by someone who hadn't seen the original that V was ment to be an adventure drama like "Star gate" (lol) , but I like the more darker vibe of the old one (in context to when it was made...) ....

  • @spacetimecontinuum My children were children when this came out, but I love it.. don't understand either the Hollywood obsession with remakes... except maybe, for the hairdos ? :))... music, absolutely North by Northwest....

  • @spacetimecontinuum

Fucking fox ruins grate shows with shitty remakes.

  • @micprn and you ruin grammar with shitty spelling.

  • @samblah Yes, yes I do.

  • @spacetimecontinuum Meh. I like this one, but I like the new one just as much. I like that while this V portrays issues of the past the other one deals with issues of the present. which I think helps round it up nicely. :)

  • this series is awesome but for fuck sake why is it in like 3 min blocks

  • Ioved being reminded of the true V

  • I just saw the new Pilot. I'm not going to spoil it, but the show has a slightly different direction. As a fan of the original I had to separate the two. In short the new series ROCKS!!!! I was really surprised by the acting, what a class group of actors, not usual for network tv, more on par with HBO or showtime.

After just rewatching the original, it still holds up very well. Just don't expect the same thing with better production value on the new one be open minded and it will ring home.

  • they going to mess it up

the ship looks like a garabe truck

  • where the fuck did you watch it before everyone else, and how can i watch it too

  • read the story of the Sumerians and compare it to the plot of the entire series.

  • Thanks! Awesome!

  • The miniseries that started it all, good memories. Too bad ABC is going to screw up the V legacy. The only saving grace is if ABC gets some of the old resistance casted. If is the key word.

  • they always do with remakes

  • The new series is about the lizards other world nemesis who are themselves non-human and have advance technology. The lizards warn the Earth resistance force of their enemies true nature but who can take the word of a fascist alien species. I hope this new series can at least keep up, with the two old school mini series

  • Now this is the shit, love this when I was a kid and still do. It sucks that abc's gonna fuck up the remake.

  • with bullshit propaganda

  • What happened to Daniel Bernstein now again? Sorry, you can put a spoiler tag or something, I just don't want to look for that particular clip.

I remember him being dragged away for some reason.

  • He was eaten. Remember that the guy who 'convicted' him said: "where you will serve us best". Daniel said "where is that", the guy answered: "on a serving platter".

  • Yeah I remember something like him being dragged away screaming. I saw it like 6 years ago. The show is being aired again this Summer, so I'm following it. Thanks.

  • 'V' was a deadly delicious weekly TV watch. Loved it.

  • I was a kid when this series was aired on tv,but it's something about actress,Faye Grant, that wanted me to enlist with the resistance("I'll go anywhere with her to kick reptile-alien ass").

  • There's a new version of this coming on tv this fall. ABC will be launching a new weekly series of V.

  • Someone please explain the chronology to me. There was V the Mini series and then V the final battle, which both rocked and that was followed by the long running series which was not as good and got cancelled. Right? I loved this show when I was 10 and I can't wait to see the remake. I told my kid all about it even before I heard there was a remake. Remember the lizard baby?

  • "Someone please explain the chronology to me. There was V the Mini series and then V the final battle, which both rocked and that was followed by the long running series which was not as good and got cancelled. Right?"

    You are correct, sir.

  • That was a bad move on NBC's part. I think we got the weekly series in late '85. ITV showed it on Friday nights. Remember watching a clip at someone's house.

David Icke revealed his beliefs on Wogan and NOBODY took him seriously (lmao).

  • BTW Wogan was a daily chat show in the UK.

  • Over here in England, there was a TV presenter called David Icke who thought we were being ruled by lizard creatures in human skin. Seriously! He must have been watching V too many times (lol).

Saw this again recently. Very well made TV mini-series. Must have got high ratings back in the day. I've got the sequel novel THE SECOND GENERATION.

  • It made very good television. I saw both the original and the Final Battle sequel miniseries. Both were well done and well rated. But then NBC went to the well one too many times and tried to make it a weekly series. It was cancelled in less than a year.

And BTW, I know of David Icke. He's a horse's ass.

  • great score

  • The music was spooky

  • David Packer. That fruit sat by while Dominique Dunne was strangled to death in the driveway by her crazy ex-boyfriend. He called his friend and told him that she was getting beaten up. His friend told him that if he were any kind of a man he would go out and help her.

  • There are those us who are very serious about this! So if you are in fact one of these creatures and you are spotted in any shape or form, let it be known that you will be killed on site!

  • I'm sure the lizard people are somewhere quaking in fear at that proclamation.

  • Yes, I am one of them. I gonna getcha, lawl.

  • Yes, I'm glad there's actually someone who has bothered to do research and wake up here...didn't really expect it.

  • Makes sense. I thought Bush's skin was looking a bit scaly.

  • Man this brings back so many memories. :D This and alien nation were awesome shows/mini series

  • Thanks very much for replying! Where did you get them and how much were they? So there was an intitial series with 19 episodes, then there was a miniseries? How many seasons were there and how many episodes were there in each miniseries?

  • 2 eps in the first mini, 3 in the second and one season on tv that ended on a cliffhanger. IMHO, the opening theme killed the tv show. it started out hardcore electronic like Final Battle, but devolved into the most outdated '70s nighttime soap opera music. It was an immediate turnoff for any fan. They un-gheyed it a little halfway through the season, but it was too late.

  • Yea I would still like to see them. I remember watching this when I was a kid, and loved the special effects and the Lizard makeup! It was cool!! And when the girl had the Lizard Baby, it was great!! I couldn't stop watching!!

  • Cool,I used to watch "V" on TV as a small kid.

  • Me too! Does anyone know how many episodes there were and if you can get them on DVD?

  • yep ive got the series on dvd. there were 19 episodes but the miniseries was better. jane badler and faye grant hla! yeahhhh!

  • this is on google video search V mini-series part 1

  • first part is one and half hours

  • your effort & thought is appreciated but it's unwatchable... no one's gonna spend the time hunting all these vids down lol

  • I did :-)

  • You're only on the first vid though! lol even I got that far!

  • I've watched before :-)

  • To WarRogers: The chapters are off to the right. But if you click on my profile, you'll be able to pull up the Playlist entitled 'V: Humankind's Last Stand' and watch all chapters (including 'V: The Final Battle.') There are a couple missing chapters however, but I can fill you in on what's happened in those scenes... as well as if you have any questions, I'll do me best to answer!

  • jayhouser,

Thanks but I already watched it on UFOCop's acct. Too bad they don't make mini-series like this anymore

  • me too!

watched them through the final battle and the series

  • I have uploaded this and are now in process of uploading all 18 episodes of the TV mini series of V! Click my name and check out my play lists :-)

  • this was an awesome series back in the day.

    thanks for the memory

  • cunts should shut up and stop moaning and bitching , it is good that XDOMINO has even uploaded it. long /short clips its still there for us to watch. youz could actually go buy the dvd if it annoys youz so much.

  • damn it!!!!!!! and no-one commented where i can find a full version...

  • all i'm trying to say is if your going to take the time to upload something, don't be a douche and upload it the right way. and god dammit put it into a playlist on your page!

  • shit i was so excited until i saw all the videos were so short, and you didn't bother to put them into a playlist. you totally suck for getting my hopes up but then fuckin being a lame ass who can't upload a video in a way that people can comfortably watch it.

  • second that

  • LOL! I agree!

  • way to be an ungrateful dick.

  • ungrateful! the duchebag broke it up into like fifty parts, most of which are under ten minutes long. many are annoyingly like 2 or three minutes long. they're not in any type of order and not in a playlist. i appreciate the idea, when i looked for this i was excited to find someone had uploaded it. but it's so disappointing to not be able to watch it unless i spend fifteen minutes finding the correct order and dropping them into a playlist of my own.

  • isnt robert englund in this ????

  • yes

  • we used to play V in the playground while growing up in Peru, such memories...

watching it in English now is so badass

  • man, this show rocked, especially when they peeled off their skin to reveal the reptile underneath

  • I wonder if David Icke ever saw this.

  • what if the serie was a warning ??? nah I am just messing with you... am I ???

  • V is brilliant I have the whole series on DVD

  • I am having a V miniseries party tonight. I am having margaritas and watching this again for the first time in over 20 years! yee haa!

  • Great series. Loved it when I was a kid in the 80'es. I was in love with Faye Grant and "Mike Donovan" was the greatest hero killing off aliens all the time..and the mean, sneaky and beautiful lizard Diana eating rats..unforgettable...:-D

I might just order the DVD although I fear time has not been kind to this 25 year old SciFi...but cool it was back then!

  • It is amazing television. The Lizard Queen unhinging her jaw and eating the hamster is forever burned into my memory.

  • V is awesome!

  • Read the new book! it is excellent! BTW I wish they'd reprint all of the old TPBs

  • I loved this show...I cant believe I didnt know it was a book

  • I'm glad someone enjoyed the novel. I got about a third of the way in and abandoned it.

  • Amazing .. i loved it when i was i child and i still do

  • i didnt see robert englund in the cast. where is he.

  • I believe that there's another set of credits after the little "prologue" sequence with Donovan that introduces the Visitor's ships..

  • ah. thanks

  • it been 20years already...love it

  • 25 actually! An entire quarter of a century. I feel old.

  • This is were David Icke started to believe that Reptilian Aliens were out to take over the world.

  • He is a nut.

  • It's funny you mention Icke. Check into Philip Schneider the late Government geologist. It will trip you out.

  • It's funny you mention Icke. Check into Philip Schneider the late Government geologist. It will trip you out.

  • No it's not. Although David Icke mentions this movie in his book THE BIGGEST SECRET, this movie has nothing to do with what convinced him of reptilians. You'd know that if you'd read even the first ten pages of the book, rather than being a judgemental prick.

  • I loved this as a kid. Anywhere I can get the DVD of the entire mini-series?

  • This was a brilliant series.I believe it was the most expensive series ever made for tv in the US up that point in the early 1980's.
