  • I LIKE HOW ALL OF THESE BEAT CHESS IN 4 MOVES ON CHESS TITANS AREN'T AGAINST THE COMPUTER

  • This isn't guaranteed. If the other person moves the pawn infront of the knight this will not work.

  • you know you could've mated in 3 moves instead with 2. - | Ke7, 3.) Qxe5#

  • LOL! I know that trick since I was 10 years old. I got fooled to it the first time, and never again!

  • 3. Bc4 Qe7

    Problem solved.

There are no guaranteed wins in this game. Otherwise, there would be no more game.

  • good thing I'm playing pigeon

  • you are a failure in this game, if u don't believe me just challenge me a blitz game adn then we'll see what happens...

  • black made nothing but mistakes.

  • if it was guaranteed then why do they bother organizing chess tournaments and what not?

  • omg...if your opponent is mister stupid spupidman...

  • Comment removed

  • not garanteed! after you move the queen black can go (for exampel) knight to C,3

  • Wow, thank you. I honestly feel indestructible now. LOL

  • that's not checkmate

  • @Tarksky65 yes it is actually. The King cannot take the queen because the queen was protected by the bishop, and the King cannot move anywhere else. So, Checkmate.

  • why king cant move any ware and any thing cant defend it so its check made

  • @vvharishvv

you are smart 8)!!! hey people , let's make a canal for him :)

  • i did this and the freaken king ate me

  • thi is not good

  • why

    ??

  • I won 2 games in my 4th grade chess tournament out of 4. It was hilarious cuz i was the first one to finish the game in those two wins LOL

  • this will not work on a computer or a person i have already tryed this on my computer and it was on level one and from there their is no recover from it.

  • the king would kill you.. i have tried this ..it cost me a medal from a chess tournament

  • gg got to 2200 with this move

  • GUYS IT IS A GUARANTEED WIN - AGAINST A PIDGEON!!! :O

  • @2001MrThomas No, pigeons have brains. That means they can avoid it.

  • This does not work against the computer it move the porn to stop the queen. Nice move against an apponent who's not very good at chess

  • @lovetheatre100 THE COMPUTER SHOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO MOVE MY PORN I WOULD RATHER LOSE AT CHESS

  • What website

  • worked for me

  • Everyone who has been commenting on this needs to chill out. Obviously anyone watching this will not be a advanced chess player.

  • hey kids will play like this ok. so dont add anymore vedios like this and dont act smart!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone who has fallen for this once would NEVER fall for it again. It is very easy to defend. Far from a "guaranteed win".

  • what if the opponent has BRAINS?

  • I sense a patzer...

  • sad thing is, any turn before the last, this can be EASILY destroyed =) nice try though

  • it doesnt work the king can just move other way and you are only playing yourself play against computer and it does not work once

  • Hello Mr. Troll.

  • That doesn't work on strong players... It's only good against beginners, and it doesn't provide any insight into how to become better... It's a set of memorized moves which can easily be countered, and then you put your queen out into the open to be attacked over and over... Shit is wack...

  • I can beat any grandmaster with this video. Hopefully they won't watch this and learn my secret.

  • i know ways it can be countered

  • dude.. IT EXISTS a checkmate in 2 moves..

  • Nice video men!!!!

  • i hope you know what scholars mate is

  • That's so 1812..

  • Chess - 4 move checkmate - guaranteed win!!!

    Step one: Click dislike button!

    DONE!!!

  • I'm not good at chess but I saw a simple 5 move way to counter your attack an bring you into a checkmate.

  • d6 was stupid move, i play 3...Nh6 4. d3 Bg4

if 1. was e3 then the queen is trap, if not - black still in good game

  • I was at a chess tournament and I saw this happen to somebody. Also the two move checkmate. I feel like there were only a few good chess players there.

  • that wont work. your queen would most defenatly be taken out

  • Lol the only time I used this was back in 3rd grade!

  • fuck the one who did this making us irritated

  • every tom dick harry knows this...it'll never work

  • you can block it by moving the last pawn move 3 ahead

  • Your stupid there is plenty of ways to block that, yet the title sais guaranteed win

  • A nice show of stupidity.

  • What a stupid waste of time.

  • I can't understand where the 17 likes came from

  • xeque pastor... é a única jogada pré programada que conheço

  • my favorite way to counter this is move 2 queen to f6 for black

  • Oh, I wonder why grandmasters don't do this all the time???!!! Learn more about chess before posting videos about it.

  • its not true that he wins anyway what does the other 1...if the pawn in f7 moves, its unaplicable

  • i know a better way THE ALMIGHTY BOARD FLIP!!!

  • "scholar's mate" move

  • Pssssst. It's called 3... g6.

    ._.

  • oh you are a GrandMaster -.- fuck you stupid child

  • this is shit lol they wouldnt move the last pawn moved before the bishop not in line threy would move so it can kill you

  • I feel smart for coming up with a slight variant of this myself. I beat my dad and he was shocked. That was awesome lol.

  • you actually didn't win, you lost, i believe you were playing black half the time

  • i usually use the fishers trap it dominates black early in the game

  • The game of chess has been SOLVED. The professional chess industry has come to a grinding HALT. Anand has surrendered his title in DISGUST. Oh, the time we have wasted!

  • someone who actually plays chess, and not yourself, would see its the scholars mate, and stop it from happening with a pawn.

  • @CherryBlastTV or a knight

  • @TaylorGangUkTaylors yeah, i'd rather use pawns since they're less valuable :P

  • @CherryBlastTV Or he'd attack the queen at the beginning with a knight.. so he has a good position and he has to move his queen twice in the opening.. :)

  • @CherryBlastTV No, he would defend his first moved pawn and then use a pawn to stop the queen

  • @Soraplushie That's what he said, stop it from happening with a pawn. Learn to read.

  • @pedarikarhu No, cause if he stops it with a pawn before defending his other pawn he will lose his first pawn to the queen.

  • @Soraplushie You were the one who brought up defending other pawn, i'm not against that, but the matter of fact is that whatever you do you still have to stop it from happening with a pawn.

  • @CherryBlastTV In case it has escaped your non-existent brain cells, this video was NOT made to inform chess players who know this mate (these chess players shouldn't be searching YouTube for mates anyway!), but instead to inform less skilled players of possible traps for the beginner. Even a patzer, such as yourself, should be able to see how insulting the hard work of the video poster will lead to nothing except your disgrace!

  • @BestToBeAnonymous The hard work of the video poster ? but ...... are you dumb or something dude ? load fraps , load titan chess, play moves and click upload, and then put a comment like "no matter what the opponent does for a guaranteed win!!!" ... I ask you honestly , are you completely brain damaged ?

  • @CherryBlastTV Btw, this bloke is a highly skilled chess player with an Elo of 1800 (when I last checked)

  • 4Q

  • Its called the schoolars mate. Ur dumb. Getta better hobby

  • Michael

Your getting a lot of bad responses here, perhaps you should answer their concerns

  • Qh5??? And blacks has not played better : Nf6 was very better. If you play that against a computer or a good player, you're sure to lose. And blacks are very very bad.

  • look like 10 or so comments down...the paragraph...is this guy really fuckin talkin like that to someone over the internet he will never see in his life?

  • yay

  • *facepalm*

  • mega noob

  • @felipeltxd Are you referring to yourself? You must be.

  • After you move the queen, black can just use the knight to force your queen to move...

  • you coping

  • This "attack" should not be played.

    1. Easy to defend

    2. If you don't know what you doing you will get far behind

    3. If you do know what you doing, you still let black equalize far to easy

  • Comment removed

  • Wow..........1900, do you know how far ranked that is, and they will most likely use there own Opening, i'm pretty good and i'm only 1563

  • @Michael0114PS3

I am 2273 and I know I not good compared with Grandmasters or even International masters... 1900 is not even strong amateur, miles away from any master level, and your 1563 is on the lower half of average amateur, coffe-house players is generaly at your strenght.

  • your an idoiot jus for even putting this on youtube every1 knows about it and if you rele wanted to do it u should do it the safe way and put your queen on f3 and one simple pawn move will block that completely

  • @hockeyplaya61295 Tut mir leid, aber du hast nicht viel in deinem Kopt. Trotz das, du sollst nach Sud Afrika gefahren. Danach du kannst nicht aergern mich weil da keine Computern sind.

  • @hockeyplaya61295 Dude, wanna troll, learn to spell :D

  • Everyone knows how to counter a scholar's mate. Expect you.

  • @mypokemonisawesome Perhaps this video is aimed at slightly lower players than the grand masters. Therefore, you should attempt to become more encouraging and continue to play the game that only the most stupid 10 year olds with no friends play, pokimon. ps. its not awesome it your over 7...

  • SHOCKING GRAND MASTER CHECMATE IN 12 MOVES.

  • @bigglenn11203 Have you got short term memory loss, or are you so sure that nobody is going to read your comment that you have to say it twice to get it read.

  • SHOCKING GRANDMASTER CHECMATE IN 12 MOVES.

  • @bigglenn11203 I could say it again, but i remember my last comment to you and your asylum.

  • Dude, It will never work, nobody does that defense, you did everything wrong idiot, try using it agains met, most likely, they will block your queen or attack your queen so there is a slim chance of getting this you dumbass.

  • @Michael0114PS3 Perhaps, but with no credentials your are not authorised to make such a comment. The chess master who posted this video happened to achieve a lucky win with this combination against a player rated 1900. Therefore, it is a good strategy to know a wide range of move combinations, as well as modernising yourself by refraining using the terms dude and dumbass, and being more creative.

  • Dude, It will never work, nobody does that defense, you did the wrong side idiot

  • easy

  • @tampicoplus please specify, easy to win, lose, or being a complete idiot like yourself?

  • this message has been removed due to being logical

PS : i said " this attack is so obvious that stevie wonder cn see it coming"

  • I see this setup so much. Why do people try this worthless trap?

  • @RollinLikeABetch Because they are getting bored with a reasonably boring game.

  • but who is going to copy that exactly? there is a tiny chance of that happening

  • @MineyMorty You never know, perhaps people who are just starting to learn how to play chess. I would have liked to leave you to figure that out, therefore not insulting your intelligence. However your comment depicts a stark lack of intelligence which has essentially forced me to respond not out of corrective aims, but out of pity for you and the last neural bond, (guess which one).

  • It is not a garantueed win, there are defenses against it.

Flagged inappropriate due to spam: false text.

  • Opening with the Queen's pawn cant stop this though, but its fun to get on beginner's

  • Please man, don't take me down. Who with the rank > 1300 will I win with that?

    Sorry for my english

  • @BATAMANish Why do you try to beat >1300 people? You will be lucky if <600 people fall for this.

  • @keepyournoseout 600? more like <1

  • ....... you know there's a name for that. its called "the Scholar's Mate". Its simply embarrassing to see "4 move Checkmate" in its stead.

~on another note, it does get rid of pesky noobs playing chess for the first time :). yes ive used it, and it was fun:)

  • @zatnicatienth Why do you take pleasure in defeating beginners, you arrogant stuffed-up person? Do you also take pleasure in fighting with little children who cannot defend themselves? Think about that, you mentally unstable fool. You do realise that society's existence is pivotal on the assumption that the old and experienced will help thse less skilled, don't you? You should be embarrassed by your apperance on the internet.

  • @keepyournoseout i was playing teens that thought they knew a thing about chess. children play halo and COD half the day, which is slightly depressing and frighting.

the next time you try to troll about me beating little kids and being an embarrassment to the internet(which is not risking much), you better not have another comment talking about being lucky about beating <600 with this move. it just shows the trolling spirit in you.

one more thing, you trolling seems... short sighted... fool...

  • It's only a guaranteed win if you play against a dumbass! That's the problem with the video

  • @GracieJujitsu1 No, that's the problem with the name. There is nothing wrong about the video!

  • i have won against people who tried this against me

  • @oneadamtwelve86 Wonderful! We all need to know about how you have won games like this. By the way, only beginners try this line. How shameful of you to boast about victories against beginners.

  • @BestToBeAnonymous i wasnt boasting, i was just pointing out that this is not a guaranteed win, as the title suggests

  • ...that's fools mate...none of my buddies ever falls for that. You can easily intercept by a knight or a pawn, it's not guaranteed win.

  • @futuramaishot That is not the Fool's Mate. Only fools do not realise that the Fool's Mate is actually 1.f3 e5 2.g4 Qh4#. In case you are too foolish to realise, you belong into this category.

  • wow u controlled both of them -_-

  • @cool6950 If you would like to waste YouTube comment space, please use correct punctuation. It's surprising that you haven't been thrown back into second-grade English class.

  • what if the person only move that first pawn one space

  • @TheNarutojr Well, then, you don't get the concept of traps. You should not be even playing chess. IF THE PERSON DOES NOT OBLIGE WITH WHAT YOU WANT THEN THERE IS NO TRAP! If you win by having your opponent stuff up instead of superior skills, you can only be described as a weak player.

  • Could you please post moves where you play against the computer and not against yourself? I was wondering if there was such a move. Also, do you think these moves could translate well onto the real board games agains another person?

  • The famous Scholar's mate is...

    1.e4 e5

    2.Bc4 Bc5

    3.Qh5 Nf6

    4.Qxf7#

  • one cool thing that othen happened to me is this :

    1.e4 e5

    2.Qh5 g7

    3.Qxe5

rook h8 is lost and black resigns o_o

  • @energiesoler From this comment I can deduce four possibilities:

    1. You are a very, VERY weak player because you play black and stuff up often.

    2. You spend your time playing very, VERY weak opponents because you are a fool and you spend your time beating people below your standard. How very mean.

    3. You are actually searching for guaranteed win.

    4. You are not very good at spelling (othen - often).

All these possibilities lead me to think that you are a dim-wittted fool.

  • @keepyournoseout well, that was when i was younger, i was playing in one of those random websites (GOA, which no longer exists, sadly) in which you can play many games like this, and have total beginners mixed up with experimented players, actually when you started a game you could never really know if the opponent is good or not, and finding that out was the funny part. but this was all just for fun, not serious competition.

sorry for the mispelling, english is not my native language...

  • @keepyournoseout From this comment I can deduce one possibility: You are very insecure about your intelligence.

  • @ssbmon396 You sound mighty sure that you know more about my intelligence than I do. I suggest you give up this cover of lackadaisical false impression of your own wit and deductive skills. Perhaps you can get your IQ tested if you are so sure of your intelligence, but I will be surprised if it is over 80.

  • @energiesoler Obviously there are many definitions of "cool" throughout this world, with normal peoples' opinions greatly contrasting your own.

  • @MRHERR0 yes, but how do you define someone as "normal" ? everyone is different, for example, some people can find pleasure in winning an easy game of chess, while others can think it's cool to randomly search Youtube for a comment to troll. anyone can have fun the way he likes, and it's great.

  • When is the sequel coming out, it might be a blockbuster!

  • Myabe we should you should do something new and fancy, Michael, instead of being TROLLED LOL LOL LOL around all day

  • @GameloverEnjoyer This video is extremely useful for the purposes of the average American chess player who is looking for positive assistance. For many of us, this video is new and fancy with trolls simply being disrespectful.

  • @MRHERR0 -.-

  • This vid is almost as bad and as dismal as the instance when porn is removed from the internet and the only remaining website is 'Bring Back the Porn!'

  • @Bnjmnwd I cant believe u have time to do this. Naughty boy!

  • @Bnjmnwd Good One!!

  • In spite of your continued pursuits to create a popular, well-liked vid, it has become apparent that you have once again failed - guaranteed bahhh

  • Wow i remember when this vid first came out.

    It's been trolled lol.

  • @keepyournoseout How dare you desecrate the honorable YouTube with your lackadaisically considered philosophies.

  • @MRHERR0 Why not spend your ill-gotten time to troll some other site instead, such as Justin Bieber or JTong's COD videos instead! x(

  • @keepyournoseout DNFTT FOOL!!!

  • @MRHERR0 PFTT FOOL!!!

  • @keepyournoseout Slightly unjustified

  • @MRHERR0 Correction: Very justified

    Why?

Use this logic: I am always right

    Therefore, I am right

  • it doesnt work if you play against the computer!

  • @MrKeyboarder100 No S**t Sherlock. Computers have GBs of hashtable, database (which this mate would probably be in), opening books, and the use of the minimax and alpha-beta algorithms. So of course the computer will not fall for this, unlike a Class J player like you.

  • many ways to loose like that, ive never won.

  • 1 ...c5, which is the most common response to 1. e4

    2. ...Nf6 which is winning for black

    3. ...Qe7 (not Qf6 because it blocks the idea of Nf6 the next move, the e-file is blocked by two pawns so the Q-K line is strong, development of the bishop is fixed after g6 followed by ...d5 exd5 Nxd5 and later ..e4)

    3. ...g6 4. Qf3 (because whoever does such a retarded mating attack would do that) ...Nf6 and later Nd5 Qd8 (c3 is met with the retreat Nc6 which blocks the development of the white Q-knight)

  • @imanidot

1 ... c5 The Sicilian is NOT the most common opening, because even if masters play this more often, most chess players still play 1...e5.

2... Nf6. This is LOSING for Black because of 3.Qxe5+ (duh)

    3...Qe7 maybe

    4... g6 maybe

(Your username justifies your username and yourself)

  • I'm usually not a hater, but I just want to let you in on something the rest of us chess players know. You suck.

  • @andrij66 You know, andrij66, just in case you don't possess the intellect, most people out there are NOT chess players. You suck too.

  • Funny how it only works if you play 2 player by yourself. The computer is not going to leave himself wide open like that.

  • this is an easy block

  • Comment removed

  • Michael this video does not stand up to the standards of the Youtube Public
