Well in the concacaf are it sucks because the Mexican clubs really have no competition we rather play in the CONMEBOL but CANCACAF already took us out of the Copa Sudamericana and is now trying to take us out of the Libertadores .. i think the MLS is going to have a representative in next year tournament
@puepue11 Don't get too ahead of your self... The Mexican clubs has no competition??? I see you're a die hard supporter of the Mexican League... Well, I'm a die hard supporter of football... Let's see, where do I begin??? During preseason when European power houses visits Concacaf clubs, usually clubs in the MLS put on more of a show than the Mexican Clubs... Last year in Super Liga, both leagues put on a show... Friendly matches both leagues are good...
@puepue11 The MLS, for a league that's only been around since 1996... They've come a long way... In the Mexican League, I like America...
All in all, the reason why the Mexican League can't compete in CONMEBOL is because it balance the region... Because the actual truth why the Mexican league is in CONCACAF is because the MLS would be the only power house... It creates excitement in football with the rivalry between the US and Mexico... It's always been the US vs Mexico...
Nice stadium hopefully football can take of in the U.S like the rest of the world it took the American fans while but you're catching up greetings from Puebla Mexico
You forgot that football is also not the national sport in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Cuba, Finland, Norway etc. I think they've got even more catching up to do than we do. : )
@JohnQRandom Norway and Finland? :P The Finnish league could be better but many American players actually come to Norway.. It's not a bad league! :) And the Aussies are a bit like the MLS. There are coming new teams like every season, it's exciting to follow both the American and the Australian leagues growing! :D
Two things need to happen for MLS stadiums to be unique...
1. No stage
2. Seats level with the ground and as close to the end lines as possible. Right now, the only stadium in the MLS that has seats right on the end lines is Chicago.
@fol2005 the second thing you say it´s impossible nowdays, because the new fifa reglamentation says that the new stadiums need to have some meters between the endlines and the seats, look city of manchester stadium, wembley, and alot of stadiums in germany.
USA gonna play in the gold cup in this stadium 06/14/11
