HEY PLEASE.. TELL ME HOW CAN I GET ALL THE PRODUCTS I NEED SO I CAN DO THEM MYSELF?? I HAVE SEEN THAT APPLICATION SO MANY TIMES THAT I EVEN CAN DO IT. I TRIED LOOKING ON THE WEBSITE BUT I JUST GIVES ME SALON ADDRESSES.. BUT THEY ARE SOO EXPENSIVE.. THANK U
@rOziitaAzul It is an expensive system - well over $100 for the basic bottles and lamp. Amazon and places like that sell it but for most people its easier to just go to a salon as the bulbs for the UV lamp are around $50 and need to be changed regularly x
Thank you for the great video! This really helped me to choose colors of Shellac.
I have a little question. I'd like to use Fedora and Mother Of Pearl on it. Can I use Mother Of Pearl instead of the Top Coat or I need to use Top Coat after 2 layers of fedora and 1 layer of Mother Of Pearl?
@kaylynnoleary You would need the top coat to make it super shiny so you would use a base coat, two coats of Fedora, one Mother Of Pearl and a top coat. hope this helps x
@oliwan69 You're more than welcome - i'm glad it was useful. I have other videos on application, removal and the latest colours. Wishing you all the best with Shellac - its brilliant !! x
@nikki23008 Its a professional product, it is a hybrid of gel nails. CND have chosen to only sell to professionals to avoid mis-use and keep it as a professional service. All CND products are limited to qualified nail techs only x
@nikki23008 She meant to say qualified, there are many different reasons as to why but it is very important as to why company's like CND choose to supply professionals only, frustrating if you are not, maybe you could study nail anatomy and go on to do a course, so many doors will open for you and you will get to use the likes of SHELLAC untill your hearts content:-)
I was more than happy to provide my certificates to CND so I could purchase the SHELLAC for my salon, Move over OPI...!!
@nicolekrz Ahhhhh !! Its like a coral? That is one layer of Cream Puff and then Tropix over it. The white of Cream Puff makes the Tropix a little brighter x
@TheAnnaL38 Hello !! Thanks for watching my video & subscribing :) The most popular colours so far have DEFINITELY been Iced Coral (because thats the one you use for layering) Hot Pop Pink, Wildfire & Fedora. You do everything whilst wearing it and i even had spilt acetone all over my hands and it hasn't effected it !! Karen x
My daughter has had shellac done. One word of caution, there are many different brands, and the first one they used on her nails peeled after a few days. The second brand was fine. She had a french done last time and it is gorgeous. Great video :D
@debbick1 Thanks Deb :) There are loads of immitations but Shellac is the first one that was brought out - the original. CND invented it and then other brands imitated it and some of them are terrible (I used to have Polish Pro by NSI and it peeled and chipped) x
@ziplockcan Thanks for watching Cathy !! Theres no removing of shine on your natural nail before application (which makes your nail bed thinner) To the best of my knowledge it causes no damage at all to the nail but you know I'll always tell you all the honest truth and I havent had the system long enough to talk long term. Since buying the system is been 90% of my business !! clients love it ! x
@Passionate4Nails I used to change my polish every few days but since working full time with nails... in and out of acetone and polish remover... I gave up having to re-do it when I caught a bit !! Shellac stays on perfectly even with a splash of acetone - PHEW ! x
@Passionate4Nails Ahhh - no you dont need to buff the surface at all. Thats what I was saying in the video (although I waffle alot !!) All of the gel polishes need to have the shine removed but Shellac is different - its one of a kind x
@thelmalou475 I know what you mean about wanting to be a bit... 'nude' for a while Sandy :P hahaha. Shellac is so close to polish for me so its not like I have anything on them. Gel and acrylic do weaken your nails. You're told they dont in college but of course they do ! x
Great video!!!! very informative. Thank you

It was really good to see the swatches.
I think the only time I might have Shellac is if I was going on holiday for a fortnight.
I change my colour 2 or 3 times a week. Just love painting my nails! :-)
