@weezy1392 I think that was more or less done on purpose. I believe at the time they werent sure of season 5 so they wanted to bookend the show with the way they started it

@MrCuntPickle What I am trying to say is, the light was a cataclyst to many events. The police officer would probably not have stopped the car with Hanks and Karen if both lights functioned. It is his meeting in prison with Lew Ashby that set off a lot of things.
The moment I saw that I was completely sold on this show :-D
