Believe it or not, Trinity UCC does not revolve around Obama. During the same time period, Wright was retiring and a new minister taking his place. That new minister had every right to order his staff to change the website to better reflect HIS leadership style. And FWIW my own ministers (who are white) have heard the man preach and been perfectly welcomed at TUCC and hope to learn from the good outreach and works that TUCC has done. Believe it or not, Trinity UCC does not revolve around Obama. During the same time period, Wright was retiring and a new minister taking his place. That new minister had every right to order his staff to change the website to better reflect HIS leadership style. It's entirely possible that the timing was coincidental, if you step back and try to take a different perspective. Also, maybe those newsletters/mags had personal information and people were getting inappropriate phone calls? Think.

Wright gave his last sermon before the last primary was held, back in the spring. And FWIW my own ministers (who are white) have heard the man preach and been perfectly welcomed at TUCC and hope to learn from the good outreach and works that TUCC has done. Yes, I have read his sermons, as well as FULL writings by Rev. Moss. Have you read more than headlines? If not, I will not waste time my CHILD wants on raising someone else's child who is obviously not an active learner.

The groups that want to censor radio are some of the democratic leaders, far left activist, and the far left liberals. Obama and some of the other Dem leaders have not signed the "Broadcaster Freedom Act" which supports the freedom of speech and the freedom of religion. It will prevent the Fairness Doctine from being re-instated. If the Broadcaster Freedom Act is not signed before the next administration, there is a good chance it may come up in the next congress. Ask Pelosi how she feels.

His "fruit" has been all over the media, not the least of which are his two beautiful daughters - try watching the video of the interview with them in it and THEN tell me what a horrible person he is, who is raising such well-spoken and thoughtful children, who makes an effort to be at their dance recitals and parent-teacher meetings and all the other parental duties. The ad seems to contradict itself, implying that we shouldn't be judging candidates and throwing stones but then suggests that other candidates are inferior Christian candidates by proclaiming Obama to be better. Sounds judgmental to me.

I have to confess, understanding your comment is a challenge. I'm not critiquing things as they are. I'm critiquing an organization that presents Christian ideals with one statement "don't throw stones" but then contradicts those ideals the next moment "a better Christian". I have the same problem with the religious right. Simply, the organization's message is confused and incoherent.
As far the socialism comment goes, I'm not challenged by Obama being a socialist, just opposed to it.
