You could, but this vid is 2 years old now and the Z10 is discontinued. Look at the new Z series models.

I got this camera for my birthday a while back. It can really take a beating, my bed has metal poles since it is a bunk bed, but i don't share.

i swung it around one day and it hit one of the poles head on with a loud cling! Still works this very day. Mine is white with pink polka dots on the on/off slide.

The rating i give it is an 8/10

not perfect, but good. the pictures vary on what you do and what setting, one day i got AMAZING photos of my kitten, but a while after i did not do it the same way and the pictures turned out not so good.

I would find it a good camera for someone my age. easy to remember the controls, and a great b-day present.

I was riding my bike goin 40+ the other day and this flew outa my pocket on the concrete and it had just stopped raining so it was real wet, and i slammed on my bike breaks and flew off my bike and tore my knee up but still ran as fast as i could to get my camera, and i found out it still wokrs :D, only problem is theres a huge gash on the side, but the screen or buttons werent even touched! i love this camera!

very nice camara i have one there very nice they have alot of options and take very clear shots. one thing you probably don't know is that if you press the reveiw and right side zoom you can go straight to review without turning the camera on : ) hope i helped cheers:)

i got the red one by impluse purchase... this camera is quite small and light...however, it take damn BAD pictures. Dont know why though, even face detection make it worse... even my friends said this camera make them look bad. My boyfriend even disallow me to take pic of him and got me a SONY one. there is sth wrong with it !! but dont know what. Also very difficult to operate camera -> changing mode _> video.. damn rubbish

I bought one the other day, the camera looks great and the pictures are fine. However, the LCD is very doggy, like the 60s semi-colour CRT TV monitor. Send it back to Fijifilm, as expected, they said it has no fault!

Looks like a nice little camera - but is there any way to turn off all the noise? it seems to be making some sort of sound or beep with every action - would get very annoying!

Yea there is a way to turn off all the sound. I know cause I own this camera. I would say I would rate the camera at least an 8.5/10. It has very good quality, loud speakers during video playback, and much more. And the second I picked it up I knew exactly how to use it so I would say it is very user friendly.

i have a question....i was reading reviews and it said that in the pictures people had bad red eye......do the people in your pictures have red eye?

No I have not experienced any problems with it. It is a great device for pictures and video. :)

MerryGornd: I recently purchased this cam, also having problems with the zoom during video??? Don't think it's possible! Also, you can use both the xD and SD card for your cam, I have both. I'm thinking of trading for a better model.

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT.....and thanks, too, to all the others who have commented about this camera. As it happens, I bought a new model of my Kodak v550 on ebay which I had for years and which is 5MP and takes excellent videos AND you can zoom during videos. I also recently purchased the larger Canon S5 IS and the video quality is amazing. That's my main camera now. The Kodak is just a convenient little camera i keep in my bag. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE.

Is this camera the same as the Z10? I have a question I cannot find the ans to: when you take videos, can you ZOOM during the video or not? Please advise. Also claims to use either the xD OR the SD card. Is that true? would appreciate your reply and thanks!

I have the awnser for the zooming in on video's. You can do it I didnt know how to at first either, but all you do is click Menu, then there should be a thing called Digital Zoom and beside it it probally says off. But you want to turn in on. Im pretty sure that should make it work. =]

I confirm: no zoom is possible during video :(

Now the new Z20 is in the shops.. Perhaps by this photocamera you can do zoom during video..

if you don't need a big picture and need a small picture for blog and stuff : press the "menu" button when your on the shooting mode (meaning not playback). go down to "quality" and pick the "03M". It's a good size for blogging.
