  • Natural Law, Natural Rights, Natural Justice. The concepts you wish to put so much semantical weight to, actually have simple definitions...by those effected. For instance, murder is not defined in the Constitution, it is defined by the states. Some states have Castle Laws that allow lethal force to stop a car theif, some do not. You seem comfortable with some small group making these decisions whether or not they are effected whatsoever by them. NJ in anarchism enforces NL, and protects NR.

  • i would have been embarrassed to post this video

  • If you want to know how would police or law enforcement or any number of other government functions be performed without a government, here's a good playlist with a bunch of vids about it, you can choose your topic.

  • good video

  • Very good video. ah yes we get to the heart of the matter. And your right this is what it all boils down to. Anarchism vs Statism isn't the matter at hand, this is plato vs aristotle. If we can get past that, then comes politics. Well either today or tommorow I will lay down my case as far as epistemology then if you let me, we can hash this out on paleo radio. This is really much more important then politics, we are dealing with world views/philosophy which are the prerequisites to politics.

  • I would never presume it to be a walk in the park with you. I presume it will be interesting. As always, I will give you two, maybe even three segments of the program. I have discussed this issue at some length recently, and it would only be fitting to hear it from the horses mouth.

And, as always, know I will treat you with fairness and respect.

Call anytime. If you want to set up a time to call the show, that would be cool. We could even promote it on YouTube. Let me know.

  • alright let's make it friday, I won't be home in time tomorrow. It's hard to work out this type of thing with a 3 hour time difference. It might be good to promote it on youtube, I have already had a couple subscribers tell me they want to listen in when I'm on.

  • Sounds fair enough to me. Just need to work out the basics. TIme, selected topics, and a swap of basic info. This would enable both of us to have a better idea for where we will be coming from on various issues (i.e. ethics, epistemology, political-economy, etc.). We'll do this in messages rather than comments. It will be 2-3 segments.

btw- 6 pm is best for various reasons. I've learned this by trial and error.

I'll also promote it on my website: thepaleocrat[dot]com

  • In this classic clash between plato and aristotle, plato totally loses.

  • Mmhmm.

  • Unfortunately, platonism and its dualism between the realm of forms and the material world became the basis for Christianity, which its own dualism between heaven and earth. The earthly became demonized while the heavenly takes precedence. Christianity is just platonism for the masses.

  • Some forms of Christianity were indeed corrupted as you describe.

  • and other forms of Christianity take a lot from Aristotle, most of the mainline Christian Churches do not promote dualism because it causes ethical conflicts with its teachings.

  • Thank you for taking us to school on the presuppositional grounding of argumentation. You made some absolutely outstanding points, I felt like I was watching a master work. I appreciate you sharing your insight on video, thanks.

  • Ditto. well done Paleocrat. Content aside; substitute the specifics with X's and Y's, this response is a golden image, a master template.
