i like this performance than the carmen of cebu.. -i love the way they present and execute their unique style of props specially the umbrella.. -the music was so nice to hear.. -their costume was so cute.. -the execution of the step was so clean.. -nice choreography!!! hope na next year's aliwan kayo ang mananalo.. hope you will bring home the title here in leyte... viva alikaraw!!!
maganda ang choreography, smooth and clean ang transition from one figure to another. Creativity 100% at overall production, well, not bad. Medyo concern lang ako ng kunti sa mga steps niyo kasi almost lahat ng figures niyo, napa modernize. Kung naging authentic at traditional lang sana ang mga steps and movements niyo, tiyak ko talaga, 100% matatalo niyo ang basakanon.

Alikaraw has a splendid performance during SINULOG 2007 bec. they brought something new to the table & neat execution of props. Carmen however has a very clean choreography & good rituals. Medyo tigi jud mu pagsinulog
pero During ALIWAN i can definitely say that CARMEN did better, clean choreography is still there plus good props execution thats why they land in top 3. ALIKARAW also done good but too much props and their storyline & concept was not so clear

I will say alikaraw festival is one of the best dance i ever saw in philippine festival unique style and best choreography.. people will scream and shout because of this dazzling and spectacular performance of the group they will surprise.. I'm not in favor of alikaraw but i think alikaraw and lumad are both the best.... but alikaraw have the power, strength and energy.. As in dili ka mag mika while nag kita ka sa ilaha dance mahugyaw ka..
ako is a bonified Cebuano jud... why man mi defend ko sa Alikaraw?? because I believe that they are much better than Ur's and there is no question nor doubt. have u ever realize that u did not deserve it?? it's a kind of a shame right?? hahahhayy If we Filipino will continue this kind of judging.. maganda ang choreography, smooth and clean ang transition from one figure to another. Creativity 100% at overall production, well, not bad. Medyo concern lang ako ng kunti sa mga steps niyo kasi almost lahat ng figures niyo, napa modernize. Kung naging authentic at traditional lang sana ang mga steps and movements niyo, tiyak ko talaga, 100% matatalo niyo ang basakanon.

Oh filipinos wake up! we are not doing this offering only for fighting, fame and prize. But always remember that we are doing this because of our patrons. stop fighting ahszeirk. Alikaraw is still alikaraw which u can initiate the most excellent choreography and routine. (Resolve) as for me alikaraw never get old and pitiful for presenting. I accurately deem that alikaraw will acquire eminence in the future. And thrill for those haters if you don't like alikaraw subsequently don't gaze at there video understood? I conjecture that is not actually a gigantic agreement for you to employ (thanks anyway).

A festival is an event, usually and ordinarily staged by a local community, which centers on some unique aspect of that community.
I am talking now for a uniqueness right? Will I can say that if it's the ingenuity of Basakanon that serve as their trademark. Because in every cluster it's really essential to have uniqueness and Basakanon has 100% . Resolve perhaps because u are only photocopying your motif from basakanon its really an infamy and shame

Alikaraw has a splendid performance during SINULOG 2007 bec. they brought something new to the table & neat execution of props. Carmen however has a very clean choreography & good rituals. Medyo tigi jud mu pagsinulog
pero During ALIWAN i can definitely say that CARMEN did better, clean choreography is still there plus good props execution thats why they land in top 3. ALIKARAW also done good but too much props and their storyline & concept was not so clear

Ive heard from my friend man gud nga ging luto daw ni Ace durano ang taga carmen para duha ka cebu ang madala.. pero as ive heard many of the people did say that 3rd place should be the alikaraw festival of leyte thats clear maayu sad unta ug maminaw ta sa decision sa mga tawo oi not only lang sa mga judges.. kai ging himo gud ning aliwan para sad sa mga tao. so let also listen to them...

yes you are right zynxie palaging bago ang alikaraw at galing sa utak ang mga steeping at highlights.. hindi kagaya nang Carmen mga galing sa ibang grupo ang concept, movements, motif, and costume, at ibp. hahhay nako ok ang basakanon kahit na hindi bago Orig na Orig naman.. di kagaya nang iba dyan nanalo kasi kopya kaya.. at galing sa mga pro ang sayaw at motif nila... hahahhayyy Carmen ha parang basakanon kayu eh.. ibahin niyo naman style nyo.

hahay... ok nga ang alikaraw dahil sa bawat pag.present nila parati sila ng.papakita ng bago... di tulad ng iba na pabalik-balik o paulit-ulit ang sayw walng pg.babago.. imagine every time na mapresent sila may bago silang napapakita at palagi silang pinapalakpakan ng mga tao.. pero ok rin ang basak... pero carmen ewan ko lang!!!!!

but even though nga wala mi kapilde sa dinagyang that is ok i just wanted to say about the last sinulog event.. daghan man gud me reklamo nga why man jud ang carmen naka daug? dili man sa inggon nga akoa sila ging down but i am only telling the naked truth nga ang alikaraw man jud unta ang 2nd placer in sinulog not carmen.. sila biya expected sa mga tawo dili man fair ang judging oi.. cgru kai taga cebu man sad gud ang nag judge oi.. maghilom nalang ta....

energetic naman ang mga dancers nag problema lang din walang proper extensions sa mga hand movements pansin ko rin yung ibang steps cheerdance masyado
parang wala atang authentic steps na inilagay sa sayaw nyo
well visual impact the best talo nyo pa ang buyogan
isa pa ang pag open sa umbrella hindi sabay
maraming highlights naman ang choreography
props na kasi masyado ang gumalaw wala na masyadong sayaw na nakita

its really a shame carmen.. until now you did not realize that you are not deserving... if u only think, layu ra kaau mo sa alikaraw... nganu nag salig mo kai ging papha ninyo sila 2 times? mao na inyuha rason?? well kindly ask people of the philippines kung kinsa ang nindot? what if audience and judges will know that ur movements and costume are only copied? would they still give u a high rating? i think yes if luto ang show...

anyway, dili ta magsakit Alikaraw and Lumad fans kay kita man lang gihapon ang magmeet sa Aliwan Festival 2009. Char, wala na labot sila..hehe..mao na, bisan pa ug na-third lage mo sa Aliwan 2008, ug na-second kunuhay sa Sinulog 2008, THAT DOES NOT MEAN SUPER MAAYO AND NINDOT na inyo presentation. it totally depends in the eyes of the majority, the audience. :) Peace out.

I will say alikaraw festival is one of the best dance i ever saw in philippine festival unique style and best choreography.. people will scream and shout because of this dazzling and spectacular performance of the group they will surprise.. I'm not in favor of alikaraw but i think alikaraw and lumad are both the best.... but alikaraw have the power, strength and energy.. As in dili ka mag mika while nag kita ka sa ilaha dance mahugyaw ka..

i consider my self as a part of alikaraw tribe.. bisan wala ko connection nila I am just only the right side. because majority of people believe that alikaraw is mouch better than Carmen there is no doubt about that!!! hahahay judges is only 5-10 person maybe.. but we should also have to listen the opinion of the people they are also audience.. yes maybe that is a horrible decision of that judges nga kamo naka daug? basin lutong macau ba? peace!!!
