  • What can be said about this True Man & Great Singer

To Me he WAS the Voice & This From An Elvis Fan

But he truely Was The Best at these Type Sad Ballads

How the Man ever Got back up To Perform from His

Real Life Tragedy's amazes Me !!

You would never tell from his Performances what he

Had Gone through. One Man a Voice & Legend

His Like Will Never be Seen again

As Elvis and Many Others of His Era.

The First & Forever (UK) TeddyBoy

  • @1950sTeddyboy I so agree with all you say ..from a teddy-girl Glenda-Marie xxxxx

  • This is another one of Roy Orbison's best tunes you felt should've gotten heard more but it would be years before people would re-discovered his music again. This was one of Roys best tunes during his tenure at MGM and the perfect song to end after a long day good night.

  • 1:09 best picture of Roy I ever saw

  • this is my favourite track from roy mr sadness i call him when he sings you feel like crying this song brings sad memories for me the day i heard it my wife walked thats life

  • You have my sympathy....and I agree...Roy's voice expresses universal pain...

I was married to a "walker" too.

  • A great track from the star Roy Orbison. great to have it here.

    Dessie.

  • When Roy was younger he sometimes had "tournaments" in the clubs he played at "who hits the highest notes?" Of all Orbisongs this one contains the highest note Roy ever sung afaik. (I can reach it too but who am I im comparison to the Big O? :) )

  • yes a high D and not in falsetto like the one in Crying. but the sound is very bad.

  • he also hits the high D in Cry softly lonely one.

  • found a High C# in Lawa from a live greatest hits CD. Is there a studio version anywhere?

  • hey thx voor de info

ga er nu op zoek naar :-)

  • wat een mooi nummer

ik hoop dat ik het ooit op cd vind .

    gewoon prachtig

  • je vindt dat op verscheiden CD's. Er zijn ook twee versies van.

    Deze vind je op;

Roy Orbison The Singles Collection 1965-1973 CD

    label polydor 1989

  • Wow thanks for posting this song, love both versions of this song...this is the LP version. The single version is outstanding, he seemed to have put more into the single version...regardless this is a masterpiece of a song that should have charted in 1973. Thanks for sharing this wonderful gem.

  • does he hit the D on the single version as well?

  • The guys a genius. He takes any song and makes it seem easy to sing.

  • This should have a zillion more views... It is soooooo amazing!!!

  • Woo! This is an awesome song... One of my favorites!
