EYE SHADOW PALETTES REVIEW

i got something similar to this from argos but a diffrent cover and it was not at all pigmented when i swatched them with my finger i had to do it about 3 times to get some colour on my finger !!!

@xLisssaaax argos has loads of The colour institute and they look lovely, but are rubbish! Really dont like the brand

I loved the way you delivered your verdict on the Clour Institute one. It rung a bell when you mentioned it. I Think ive had that brand before and you have to really force your brush into it 200 times. I loved that first one.

The colour institute is probably the worst brand i have ever tried. Its awful. The Active palette is good. One palette you might like is the W7 77 paintbox. It's a nice mixture of neutral colours, and they are good quality but not as pigmented as something like Urban Decay or the 120 palette. You can get it from any of the websites i've reviewed

I dont like high pigment because its harder to remove and im not as young as i used to be, my eyes dont recover as quickly lol. Will be looking into those palletts

Some eyeshadows are a nightmare to get off. Barry M's liquid liner stained my eyes for about 3 days, even though i used an eye make up remover AND cleanser and make up wipes!!!!!

colour institute ive got that and ive only used 1, it was so pigmented, so thats the only one ive used so im gonna swatch them to see what there like, lol xx

I also have three sets from The color institute and I totally agree that they are a waste of money. Out of all this stuff, I'm only happy with one lipgloss and some shadesticks out of a massive set from 2004. Everything else, especially the fair eyeshadows are crab. They seem to have hardly any pigment in it :-( But as 333nikki says, try the 120 colour pro palette from Ebay. I'm so happy with it. They also have smaller paletts like 40 or 80 which are great too.

Hey sweetie thanks for your comment. Very interesting about your experiance with the colour institute they are soooooooo awful. I do have a 120 palette that i am over the moon with. Thank's so much for the info. I like us ladies helping each other out, it's why i started doing my videos. The nail varnish i'm wearing is by Nail Inc. It should be about £10 but it came free with Glamour magazine. The magazine cost £2. I love a bargain! Take care and keep watching!
