  • okay, im stuck in clockworkmod recovery, when i clicked the original update link and saw the file was pulled, i assumed i didnt need it, and went along w/the tutorial. I now have the new update file but i am still stuck in clockworkmod recovery, what do i do?

  • does this work on the 6.1 kindle firmware?

  • I know I messed up but...What do I do, if I want to go back to kindle fire's original factory settings, and get rid of twrp and CM7 but i didnt back it up before CM7. I tried to but it never let me back up. it always said Backup failed, but i went on and installed Cm7 anyway. please help T-T

  • Is there anyway of fixing the boot loop problem on the kindle fire? it keeps looping back to the TWRP scrren for me

  • can someone please help me i get to the part were you have to paste the commands in the cmd but it just says "cp: not recognized"

  • You should make a video on how to.install the new updated cm7 kindle fire with the sound fix

  • @UnlimitedWireles Basically you just use Whistlestop's Update.zip instead of JackpotClavin's -- but the rest of the steps are exactly the same. I'm uploading a new video showing performance now.

  • @BradLinder alright sound great thanks so ill just fallow this tutorial with the other zip file thanks

  • good job i added the tenth so u can thank me

  • nice

  • im getting the cd cache error and i cant re root my kindle (i did it twice so that might be why) any ideas, and will i still be able to run the original kindle os?

  • On your website the link to the "log" file takes you to the download link to "last log", not "log".

  • nvm bro i got it

    :)

  • i get update complete then i do the steps after that then it says file or directory not found, WTF?

  • i get cant cd to cache, i dont know what that means.

  • @chrisaflores998 I got that message the first time I tried too. Try rooting your Kindle again with SuperOneClick. Even though I was already rooted, I did this and then I was able to cd to cache.

  • @chrisaflores998 type in su so you get superuser access
