all these old mowtown classics remind me so much of my dad who sadly passed away in 2007, brilliant DJ and his soul still lives on when these songs play :) Love You Dad xxx
Love the sound of this. You can always hear a little of that "unique" Motown sound running through all the great ones out of Motown and there were a million great ones! I've said it before and I will repeat it here: "There is No Town like Motown!!" Thanks for this post.
i bought this when it was first released on motown , i think it was '69 , played it 24/7 , i adored it ... still got the original and still puts a shiver down my back ... but not had it out of its box in probably 20 years ... keeping it safe !!! thanks for posting ... C A L .
I really want to find the person who disliked this song and punch them right in the jaw. I'm just saying, this song absolutely kicks ass and is so incredibly uplifting I simply cannot accept someone not liking it.
One of my top two faves of all time--tremendous performance by the Saundra Edwards and the Elgins-thx! This should havebeen number one in USA!! Just proves the good taste of the Brits I guess!
i dedicate this song to my boyfriend he is amazing, he wiped away all my sadness :) i will miss him and listen to this song every day when he gets deployed in april<3
I gave my 45 single of this to a girl I had known for a week, I just knew she was the girl I would marry and I did! 33 years later she has gone and so has my 45! but my feelings are just the same!
Thank you for posting this great original 60s dance track - great song. See also Recovery-Fontella Bass & The Clapping Song-Shirley Ellis, and of course Bonnie Pointer & Supremes versions of "Heaven...". DAVEDJ
Absolutely love this - I am 53 now and it just reminds me of being 14 again. Dont care what anyone says - You just cant beat all the good old Motown Songs
