  • Very informative video.

Metriks' FCE software allows the healthcare professional to objectively quantify and report on a person's functional abilities.

  • good luck to josh.

  • I saw your video and thought it was very informative. Have you ever thought of making your material into a course? There is a web site out there that will let you do just that. And you can make money as well. Check it out its called ToPointC.com.

  • I wrecked in motocross and shattered my left tib and both of my fibs on each leg. They said I culdnt walk again and 4 months later I'm going out for jogs. The power of determination is amazing. Keep up the hard work Josh.

  • so what happened to josh?

  • @4alama Josh was hit by a car while roller blading on Mother's Day 2004. He is paralyzed from the rib on down.

  • @escgjki Wow...So is this a big improvement for him? Do you think he will be able to walk normally again?

  • @InsultingDick He is taking a break from physical therapy. Progress is slow and we knew it would be. We are hoping that stem cell procedures will be allowed in the US and then I think we will see even better progress. The procedures I am talking about are the ones where they use the patient's own stem cells, NOT embryos. Many are going outside the US for stem cell procedures and seeing some progress. Can't wait!!!

  • This is a great video... My son was in a car accident and suffered brain trauma. I was told he would not make it for he was not breathing when they got to him and he had been ejected from the car onto the highway, but they were wrong they are just people. He is now up and walking with me leading the way. Remember God can fix anything. He created it and it is nothing for him to fix it. So if your son is not walking on his own yet. I believe he can and feel you do to.. Just give it to God.

Otimas festas.

  • thats fantastic that he's improving.I hope he is at a full recovery now. :)

  • hey, what can i do in college to be a good PT?

  • it depends of the location of insult. . if the gunshot hit some nerves at the spine. . it can affect some of the persons ability because it cant regenerate itself. . compared to peripheral nerves. . which heals fastly. .

  • Good for him! I hoep he gets better!

  • I've watched a lot of Josh's videos and it looks like he's doing great! And he's so cute... does he have a girlfriend? :-)

  • Yes, Josh does have a girlfriend. They have been together for almost 2 years. She used to be one of his physical therapists. A nice place to meet, don't you think?

  • good job dude

  • THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT. YOU HELP US TO CARRY ON!

    Sue (Josh's mom)

  • keep goin m8

  • awesome job, just keep it up!

Thats what im going to college for is physical therapy.

  • Nice job man, Keep it up!

  • Keep up that hard work. You ought to look into stem cells they are doing great work in Portugal and Russia with stem cells and spinal injuries. Keep up the good work.

  • hey good job man i remember the days i was like that but after a while i got better but i still need help i still have the braces but nothing has stopped me or slowed me down of what i want to do so hope you get better

  • Thank you!!! Good luck to you too.

  • about how long do you think before he will regain movement and sensation. have you looked in to stem cells? i really hope for the best for your son. if he is your son.

  • I don't think we replied to you about this question. Sorry. We don't know exactly how long this therapy will take, but every step towards the goal is good and necessary. We have not looked into stem cells yet, but it is in the back of our mind. We are hoping that it is not necesary. We would like to wait until it is accepted and used in the U.S. We are open to stem cells that do not come from embryos.

  • Hi! I'm writing a story and I need research. If a person has been shot, and they go through physical therapy, how long would they have to go through it and what would they do?

  • well done buddy, no pain no gain.
