After the glue drys...you can invert the clasp and tuck the fabric inside. That way when the clutch opens the fabric will be in a "V" form inside the clasp. Hope that makes sense. Sorry :)
Interesting... I'm just disappointed that you didn't show us the steps to finish this project... I'd like to know what to do with the fabric on each side of the clasp... is there a way to make it stick to the clasp as to not see any opening on the sides?...
I am having a very hard time to find the clutch mechanism on etsy, or anywhere else for that matter. Could you please send the exact dimensions and kind that was used. I am all ready for the sewing but on hold because of this! Thanks!
I really enjoyed watching your video! I am a beginner sewer but eager to learn and wanted to do something small and basic I going to try my best to make a beautiful clutch thanks for sharing!
the white background (walls) makes it very hard to see anything being done :(

this is really neat but it would help to have maybe some close up shots of what is being done.

I don't think you mentioned the dimensions of the frame you used. Was this a 10" frame?

Hi, went to the etsy site for the clutch mechanism but there is a few of them on the site, which one do you use for this pattern?
