In Chinese culture, the Qing hua ci, or the porcelain vase you see is a highly priced item. To create the right shade of blue, the vase has to be made at a certain time of the year due to the environment. He is describing a woman he loves and their predicament,

Qing in the old days meant blue/green, just like Qing Tien (blue sky)

qing tian means bright day, not blue sky, qing is blue in the rainbow colors

youre right; tian means day. just like jintian, or mingtian.

qing tian means a clear day, which can be blue or bright. qing is actually literally translated as light green...

however, "qing tian ci" here is referring to a very specific blueish color (really hard to make) on porcelain. we can see that color in the video..
