You will see below a comment from Terry Hallman who has since died. In 2006, his article 'Death Camps, For Children' described a trip to Torez. You may be surprised to learn that the US Senate and British PM David Cameron had both been alerted about Torez, while others were desperate for him not to be heard.

@JeffMowatt Yes, I'm aware that Terry Hallman died, I am aware of his article, and I'm also aware of what he was doing in Kharkiv. Also, I pointed out the situation to officials the FIRST time I saw it in 2004, and it fell on deaf ears both in the U.S. and abroad....

@trakomako I totally agree, it is hard to watch, but this is reality, and we want to show ppl what it is really like. We are thankful that we are able to bless these precious children. How sad! But praise GOD for raising up fine people such as the Minichs. Their girls, whom I know personally, are very sweet and Shine for Jesus.

@OccamsRazorette Thank you, and yes, PTL for this adoption, but hundreds of children lie in their own waste, and will never be adopted...I hope and pray that ppl don't forget about them. Bless this family for saving 2 lives,

2 of our daughters were slated for a facility like this. It is horrific to think what would have happened to them.

@christieminich The best thing is that there are GOOD facilities in Ukraine for children with special needs. I have visited them myself, and toured them. It is terribly unfortunate that the Ukrainian government and many others are trying to cover up what this facility is doing to children (and has done, without any accountability). They may not be punished here on earth, but all who support this man, and call me a LIAR, they will answer to this. I'm SOO glad that you adopted your girls.

The name of the neuropsychological "care" facility in that article could not be mentioned at the time as explained in the article. It was Torez.

Torez remains one of dozens of similar facilities across Ukraine.
