  • Also, please forgive my overbearence, but I'm looking for a version of the 6950 that can still be unlocked. I obviously prefer MSI's Twin Frozer versions and my local store has the Twin Forzr II for $279 and the Twin Frozr III for $319. Does one or the other allow the shaders to unlock? And is the extra money for the III really worth it?

  • @mpalm887 Unfortunately, very few 6950's unlock these days, as manufacturers quickly locked the BIOS when they noticed the issue. I've heard some Sapphire cards unlock, but beware that it may not work.

Not to mention the fact that it can struggle sometimes with power, due to the 8+6pin design. Not a huge issue, but worth considering too.

  • @christoiMc Thank you for your kind advice. I decided to forgo the 6950. I'm going to get a new gen card. Either a 7950 or wait for the Kepler cards from NVidia.

  • I just ordered this case and am thinking of grabbing an H100 or H80 as well. Do you find the H100 to be loud at all? I'm concerned about noise since my PC is in a very public part of my home. I don't mind it ramping up for gaming but for typical day to day use I need a fairly quiet PC.

Also, please forgive my noobness but when people say push/pull what do they mean? Fans pushing air against the rad and other fans pulling it from the rad?

    Your feedback is most appreciated.

  • Can i put 4x4GB Corsair Venegace whit H100 Pull/Push in this Case?

  • @YookiTheOne I dont have that particular memory, but i think it should fit, there is lots of clearance.

  • Nice setup. Do you think the H100 could fit in the R3 ?

The only problem with such multi screens setups is that it's obliging you to put your speakers too far away for an equaliteral triangle, and the screens are a bit in front of the speakers, so it's not really good for monitoring.

  • @RobinLabadie Hey Robin, the R3 might have a problem fitting the H100 in a push pull configuration with 4 fans, because the fan holes are placed right in the center of the top of the case. The Arc Midi however has many holes to use from, if you look at the video you can see that the radiator is close to the left side panel therefor allowing room for

  • @gar818 That's true, maybe the top holes are too close from the back of the box so it could disturb the back fan. Thanks for your reply :)

  • Hello gar! Kan you give my a answer? I will buy this case and kan not found informations to max grafikcard size. kan i put 2x zotac gtx 580 amp2 (2,5/3 slot) in this case? an what a size kan have the ram whit yout cpu cooler (whit pull and push). i will put 16gb corsair vengace in the pc...

  • @YookiTheOne Yes, the GTX 580 will fit just fine, this case can fit even the longer video cards by removing the middle hard drive cage.

  • Mate, you have turned your fans on the H100 the wrong way.

  • @TheAnders1804 Corsair recommends it this way, but both ways work just fine. I have since changed the fan setup to exhaust as hot air rises, it makes more sense.
