USA should make a whole new space agency because nasa doesn't tell us dick shit.the stuff they do tell is bullshit, they just want to keep everything for themselves.
Gradually, in time, or, in some time, we should get amazing information. Space technology has, and military technology has, been available to us. Information on discoveries have been available to us.
how come were not interviewing the people who did all this to get the last of history and what went on when they die all the shit heads will make up stuff and twist history. only few will be able to tell the truth
NASA is just a brain vacuum so the brains can be cleanly pulled from the vacuum bag and used by the military. Instead of complaining about NASA's budget, consider the military which is the real focus of resources. NASA promotes science fiction-like fantasies to collect money and political support from tax payers, brains from scientists and engineers. The military is what ends up using most of the resources that get pulled in.
@EdgeStormcrow hell if i were a billionaire id give the space program lets see about $999,000,000 because i believe that we need to get off this damn planet and get to work on finding better scientific discoveries
I do not wish to sound too callous here YourTMND, but the federal government funds basic scientific and medical research -- including space exploration -- because it is not something that most individual people or companies have the money to fund.
Feel free to move to some socialist country if you'd like their government to pay for -- and make all the decisions -- about your health care and other needs for you.
I don't understand how this proves any point other than the one I put forth. Indeed the Federal government provides funding to NASA and medical companies, individuals suppy that money and through the process of voting and popular appeal they influence (most of the time)how that money is spent. Simple stuff really. I'm not against space exploration in the slightest, just wasteful spending, which is existant in all extensions of our government. Especially in times of dire need back on our planet.
you're a complete idiot YoureTMND. Space exploration is just as important as anything else that the government funds. i agree with wspaceport in the belief that you should move to socialist country where people think similar to the way you do.
Compared to entitlement programs such as Medicare and Medicaid, which automatically provide benefits to anyone legally eligible for them, federal spending for space exploration is small. Taxpayers spent $628 billion on Medicare and Medicaid last year -- $610.70 billion more than NASA's budget of $17.3 billion. (source: MSNBC at 3Ws. msnbc. msn. com/id/23923948/)
capitalism failed in USA. That's why the government needs to buy a 700 billion dollar chunk of the once capitalist economy. The economy offers a lesson for those who are willing to see it as one. Pure capitalism is an accident/crash waiting to happen. A pinch of socialism/public ownership isn't such a bad thing. Maybe in a few decades USA will be known as the People's Republic of America lol

Hey Dextre how about coming back to earth and feeding the the millions of starving families, that are needlessly dying everyday, instead of fucking around in space.
Obama does not support manned space missions. Investigate the candidates & come to your own conclusions. Clinton in 2008. Keep space exploration & development alive! Lookin' good, Dex!

So? Who needs manned space missions when you can have unmanned ones? Besides, flying people around in space is on the bottom of the list of things we need to get done, the obvious thing we should be doing is trying to cut or reduce costs of things like this to help the hundreds of millions of us still struggling on the ground.
It's not, not even by the largest of exaggerations like you seem to believe in. I'm the only fool here, for daring to enter an argument on youtube, carry on with your ignorance.
hahaha!!! If this were shot in Hollywood, there should be countless stars and nebulas in the background. That's how real is starwars and startrek to couch potatoes.
Agreed that there are not many people interested in such things. I watch here at home almost every night, so take little time to watch here, and in fact have not seen one of these videos before. But the shuttle has always been an interest of mine, and I do like to watch on television.
Thanks Obama for cutting the Mars program! Cuz NASA's .5% of the national budget was really holding the economy back
