  • This version sounds so stripped and somehow wrong and unsatisfactory. It doesn't have the fullness and the moving vibes that the album version has. Very irritating.

  • I think the album version is much better. In my opinion the guitar doesn't get the vibe of the song ... I mean the album version. Don't like this here, but love the original one. But it's still one of my favourite songs. (+1 if you share this opinion ♥.)

  • dumbellcrazy you are wrong, i did not know about darfur until i heard the song, so even if one more person knows that's great! I do not know the motives of mattafix, but i know the impact they had on me, so.....

    and i wished everybody else was doing the same, no matter of motives, at least in that way we would be informed! so what ?you would ask. it is the first step i think! to know the truth!

  • I hate it when so called celebrities are highjacking humanitarian issues from around the world for their own image show.... what mittafix is doing to stop the rebels from lifting arms or even make them sit down to negotiation table to make peace... I think it's best that you guys make sure you have your fix and booze, sex and go to bed....

  • the album version of this song is by far one of the best songs i've ever heard and i respect Mattafix in every aspect... But this accoustic attemp just ruins the whole vibe... they look like an x-factor gay band covering Jack Johnson.... lol.....they don't deserve that.... for real now guys you shouldn't do this.. THIS IS THE LAST SONG ON EARTH SOMEONE COULD COVER WITH JUST A GUITAR!!! its as if Beethoven made a remix of the 5th symphony playing only harmonica... (+1 if you agree)

    umm well.. this version is definitly not better than the original one but i can put it on replay anytime listen to it all day while working or in transport.. if you knew the stress and daily struggle for a living under the heat of sudan.. yeah.. you'd know how soothig and mind healing this version is, it takes away anger and fills with hope .

  • I really like this version. But I think comparing it to the single doesn't make a lot of sense.

    The single Version is way more lifely an energetic with its beat, while the acoustic version is more harmonic and just more silent.
