i never understood why they told malcolm not to say anything about kennedy but he could say anything about any other "white" person when kennedy at the time was the lead "white" person. i just dont get it

Jim Brown actually stated that he felt John Ali was an informant. I agree, especially since he had such close contacts with the NOI's inner circle. Plus, when Bobby Kennedy became US Atty. General, the first group he monitored was the NOI, long before the Mafia and Jimmy Hoffa.

John Ali had major access to the NOI's inner circle and Elijah Muhammad. He had the opportunity to find and exploit weaknesses in the relationships between people in a movement. In my opinion, he played a major role in causing the rift between Elijah and Malcolm.

I think he was an agent, if not the FBI - deff the CIA. If we are wrong - He damn sure was a enemy of the Black People. The FBI confessed that they new every move Malcolm X and MLK made, because there were agents infiltrated within NOI (still are) and MLK circle - it is pretty clear who traitors were!

its not the cia... the CIA deals with international problems, the FBI deals with domestic problems..

If you do your history of the CIA - they were very involved in internal issues in the 60s - once Malcolm started communicating with Afican, middle east, and asian leaders. He became a target - also the CIA is a slimmy orginazation - they were hand and hand with the US Mafia in a plot to assasinate Fidel Castro - I know they suppose to focus on external threats - but their hands were and still are involved in internal issues since its beginnings.
