His poetic energy is so rife on this show. He considers his stand-up shows to be his plateau de excellence, but his riffing on casual daytime shows such as Richard and Judy seem to capture the essence of his talent.
@owenhunt You know, I do like his standup, but I agree with you. I think he's best with just chatting with people off the cuff like this. I fell in love with him from seeing his interviews, not from his standup.
