The only reason women don't like football is b'coz it something that takes male attention away from them.......women are attention-seekers by nature...
I've noticed that any man who doesn't like football is usually a wrong 'un.....
LOL....na/h it's true....u try watching football/sports with a woman & see how long it takes her to get bored & start trying to talk to you about inane shit or flirt with you......sports is like a love-rival to them!
Ok fair enough.......tho TBH you're greek & Greek/Latin/South American women tend to have have a better attitude towards sports than the pasty, useless bints we have here in the UK.....you'd defo be an exception to the rule here.
@supahdupahguy81 I've been to London 2 times, couldn't make it this year :( I promise I'll come and watch a game with you just tell me ur not a fan of Manchester City coz I'm a fan of Aris :)
@Marialovesyouso OMG how many times am I gonna have to say it??? It is just a funny video, if you don't have a sense of humor, or you don't like it then don't watch it and stop criticizing it as if it was the most insulting thing you've ever seen!!!!!
secondly, no offense but greek football is not exactly the best example to use, in more developed european leagues e.g spain, england, italy, france etc teams are generally more strong and therefore the leagues and cups are much more competitive. also football success happens on the pitch, clubs can only get richer if the teams are winning games so unless u want to blame olympiakos for winning to much they cannot be accused of greed.
finally yes football is both an international miracle and a big money industry. the economies of so many countries will suffer without football. it can make the poor rich and the rich even richer. there is so much money in football that it doesnt need to be corrupt .FIFA are almost as charitable as UNICEF. strangers have become friends just because they support the same team. GREECE dont suck at football they won EURO 2004.
if the greek league was as good as the english premier league, trust me u will see that a lot of men would prefer to watch football than spend time with their women. but also maybe its cultural, maybe greek people are not as football crazy as the english.lol.
wow, now that i read all our comments i realise that it can really be a contradictory subject.....so different opinions..and points of view...i suppose youre right about the kind of football in Greece no offense taken :) it was really nice talking to you ! ill be glad to hear that youre coming to greece...bb take care
if women took, the time to understand the excitement and football then maybe they wouldnt complain so much, if they understood the importance of soccer in the world, then maybe we wouldnt see pointless videos like this, football has brought peace to nations that were formerly at war, it iis also a way to make a better living for so many of the worlds poor. football is a multi-billion pound/dollar industry. all women see is 22 men kickin a ball around. ibut it is so much more than that.
omg...please tell everyone that it is a humorous video and that I enjoy watching football . We take the time to understand the excitement and stuff however u should know that things in the football field aren't exactly as you described them to be nowadays..... and just to give you en example : Barcelona - Chelsey........ u think this brought peace to many nations?
do ur research. look at sub-saharan africa and in south america. football served as a medium of peace between warring tribes in various countries in africa.during the 1970s conflicting nations in south america. the unitednations use football to quell the problems of poverty and juvenile deliquency in the third world. football brings people together . btw the barcelona-CHELSEA match is club football and therefore has little impact on global matters.but women will never understand.(unsexist)
I knew i had mispelled chelsea (sorry, CHELSEA); however i was too bored to look it up. There is a difference between the football you describe (it seems like world's leaders should follow this example) and the football I'm presenting in my video. It's too bad some people need to spoil something funny which offers nothing more but laughter just because they have an intrasigent opinion on an issue. Let me ask you a question? Why are you so sure about women's understanding of football?
because football involves a lot of passion, pride and skill and ahuge majority of women cant understand it. i look at ur video and i see u comparing carlos tevez to ugly betty , football fans dont give a s*** about how players look .the only thing fans care about is if a player plays well for his cllub. Many players after their careers end up being ambassadors and set up numerous charities.some footballers even have more influence than the government. and ofcourse football is a physical game.duh
but all women seem to care about is how handsome a player is and how rough the game is. obviously women are very gentle and the roughness and physicality that comes with football is very natural to men as many men in various countries play football .football is the most popular sport in the world and football players get paid large sums every week to play for their clubs. football is also very important for male bonding . i am not sexist but sometimes women are so clueless. no offense.
If 86 in your nick means 1986, you are same age as me. It is very sad I must say that a boy/girl in the age of 23, in 2009, cannot tell the difference between joking and seriously appreciating the value of a sport.
The fact that vast amounts of money are conveyed in the football field is both obvious and suspicious.
Besides this video, you should really think about reconsidering your opinion because no matter how great and important football might be, it has become deeply corrupted.
yes 86 means i was born in 1986, i will rephrase " SOME women can be so clueless. forgive me if u meant it as a joke and i overeacted, its just that i see so many women condemn football but if they took time out to understand football they would see why men love it and are obsessed by it. pls answer me 2 questions ..... what do u expect men to do if they dont watch football ? and how has football been corrupted ?
1st question. "I expect them to watch and enjoy football but not idealise it. Men can always spend time with women and I bet this will be far more enjoyable than any game ...LOL
2nd question. where do u live? Look around you, money buys everything... Players, sports clubs, referees , the press, everything.....
errr sorry to disappoint u but there are so many men who would rather watch a football game on a saturday afternoon than spend time with their girlfriends (ive seen this happen so many times) . i live in london and football is an industry so of course theres gonna be money in it . loads of money. that hardly makes it corrupted . every business and industry on earth needs as much money as it can get. does that mean they are corrupted too?
well first of all, i m happy to hear that u live in the best city ever (i ve only been there for a week but im a great fan, i ve had the greatest holiday) and that England happens to be (as far as im concerned) the only bright example of fair and decent football.
Take a look in other countries and you will realise that today football has begun to lose its glory. More and more football scandals are coming to light and behind them, are the vested interests of rich people (numerous, of course).
I ve only been watching football for a couple of years now so I certainly do not consider myself an expert. However, in my country (Greece) as well as in others, football seems to have turned into an industry where the richest gets what he wants (olympiakos has won 10 -i think- cups in a row, yet when he plays against a European team, they always lose...) Just watch some games and you'll understand what Im talking about. And unfortunately the same thing goes for other countries.
And last but not least, i got 2 questions for u, first, you defended football as an inspirational sport which (and i quote) 'quells the problems of poverty and juvenile deliquency in the third world. football brings people together'. Which is it? An international miracle or a money industry?
Second, we may suck at football but if you come to Greece on a Saturday night you will not want to stay in and watch a game...And thats a promise.. (and not a question as I now realise...!)
well i hope u are having a good time in london and im also happy to hear u are greek as i have many greek (and cypriot) friends myself. now football clubs like any other business have chairmen and shareholders who always look at ways to increase their wealth-naturally. it only becomes corrupted when football clubs want to make money by exploiting others and that almost never happens ,secondly there are actually very few scandals in world football-(italys calciopoli scandal being the last)
Afpet, to Americans this DOES come off as sexist. I love soccer, and American football. It's our Native American sensibilities that make us see things differently from non-Americans.
And just to put things straight, Im a girl, not a boy, and I created this video just for the laughs. If sensitive Americans like u dont like ur not obliged to watch it. The end
this is sexest video, i play football and im a girl, its just the difference is girls dont need to fight in order to play football. and if you had a life you wouldn't be sat making stupid videos, twat

This is why you THINK women don't like football, or maybe this is the reason the women you know don't like it.
I like football, but I like nice football. That's why atm I prefer rugby, that is a gentlemen's sport!
