The more I look at this early prototype PUMA based on its URBAN application, the better I think the idea actually is.

The average car only has one occupant at any given time. You can park 6 PUMAs in the space of ONE regular car and get 2 PUMAs side by side in each car lane putting a HUGE dent in congestion commute times, fuel use & pollution.

It can go 35 miles at 35-mph for only $0.35 cents!

This may be the answer once this early prototype is "fleshed-out" with full body, doors etc.

This is going to have the same problems as the Segway. No one wants to be on the street in one of these, as you'll get flattened. No one wants these on the sidewalk, as it's a hazard to pedestrians.
