 It is wonderful to see one of my favorite personages, Cardinal Wuerl, meeting the Dalai Lama, both very genuinely kind and loving personages. I have always been impressed with the Cardinal's personal touch and genuine love for people, he has done alot for the underpriveleged in Washington DC. Yes, if all religions need to model love and respect for all human beings and the planet.

It is no surprise to see the Dalai Lama with the cardinal because of the very excepting nature of the Buddhist tradition, but very surprising that the Cardinal would use the title "His Holiness" being that Christians as a whole would consider it blasphemy to call a non-Christian by such a title. Touching to say the least and shows a lot of respect. I wish the Cardinal's behavior would be replicated by all Christians, it would lead the world in a more peaceful direction.
