I'm all for sticking up for teammates and respecting "the code" but I don't think going after a player and stopping play when a clean body check occurs should be allowed. Take revenge on the player some other way

He is missed on the Canucks, he did actually hit like this a few times a year. But, he's an All around defenseman. He does Offence, Defense, and physical. I'm glad the rest of the Eastern Conference can finally see him play, we've been enjoying him on the west for a while.

kessel been good for toronto with 10 goals in 15 games.(more than anyone on the bruins and only played haft as many games almost). I understand what your saying about kessel not playing D in boston and thats what got him benched if i remember, but toronto got him playing defense and scoring as well so he's maturing as a player. He also dropped the gloves tonight against the blue jackets. Bet you never would have thought kessel would do that did u?(even though no one threw a punch :P)

He backchecks all the time with his great speed and is always in position. I now know to never take anything you people say seriously. Yeah, Tampa had a good team that year, Lacavlier, St. Louis, Khabibulin... and the list goes on. Luck just hasn't shined on The Leafs for a long while, I guess that will make it sweeter when it comes.
Although my team hasn't won a cup in a long while, look at all the others that havn't either. Chicago(even longer), Boston, Philly(since repeat 73-75) and then you can throw in a handful of teams since expansion, Kings, Canucks, St. Louis and Buffalo are ones from my head.

I don't think the Leafs will make the playoffs, but I sure as hell hope they do, and I'm not going to count any team out. The Leafs aren't as terrible as you say, shitty start sure, but atleast they're picking up points in their losses. Phil Kessel is maybe a 20 goal man in his first 2 seasons, but to think he won't get better is ridiculous. Also, "he's going to get injured again, guaranteed." Where is this basis coming from? Where is your inside scouting report that says "Kessel must get injured".

As i said before, GTFO please. Toronto has the biggest fan base in the entire NHL, who are you to call us retarded? With those two draft picks you won't get anyone nearly as good as kessel. Try looking at 10-11 draft, and see who you can get. Im sorry, we're not coming last, dont get ur hopes up. Colorado wont necessarily stay first for the entire season. Look at ottawa's 10-0 start, and look where they finished.
