  • A little snow and ice and this thing freezes up until Spring, and who knows if it will work after it thaws out. They never mention that. Even a little ice on the blades and spokes, and it is out of balance instantly and who knows what happens then.

  • You can buy (5) 1kw Windmax wind turbines for less then what this unit cost and have a 5kw wind system that actually works. I can appreciate the invention but the price is just reduculas. That is why you will not find one vidoe of this thing on youtube being succesfull. Why don't people show the power. Hmm.

  • We purchased the wind turbine as a beta model from North American Windtronics. But we did so through a Dutch company called GE4ALL. I can't exactly remember the price we paid, but it was somewhere around 7000 USD.

    It should be able to produce 2.5 kW, and I think it was somewhere around 2500-3000 kWh per year. We never saw the that amount of power though. Apparently you have to take the energy from the turbine in a very specific way.
