  • Let me clarify something. Yes, they are probably making fun of the baby. But in NO WAY is the baby in danger. Shaken baby syndrome happens when a child is violently thrusted back and forth, causing the baby's brain to swish inside the skull, or the neck to snap. Vibrating chairs give off mild buzzing sensations. This is ridicule at best, but not abuse.

  • Honestly, I did laugh, but felt awful after. Too young to be on a chair like that. Those chairs are way more aggressive than you think. It's not going to be too funny when your child has back problems and will have to deal with that pain for a lifetime. Come on, now. I mean doing it for maybe 30 seconds would've been enough. Of course, the child isn't in pain....but this could definitely lead to a serious injury. Why risk it? If you did this to my child, I'd make you kiss my fist.

  • Me again. Due to space, I clipped both previous comments. There is no force of nature that will prevent a baby from crying if it is suffering! No fear of repercussions, nor need to "fit in" nor politeness is present in a baby! A full diaper in this time frame is fine. Babies like motion!
