This is an awesome video between two brillient artists. Bravo. But, if you don't mind my asking (and hoping I don't sound like a noob...), whats a "fursona"? Is it from an anime or something or what is it? All of the ones I've seen have looked a lot like dogs (and a few times, foxes ._.). I really hope I don't sound like a total noob, but I'm curious. :)

@Ponyloveer A fursona is a play on the word "persona." Basically it's sort of an alter-ego or visual representation of yourself, as an animal. Like, I'm generally a quiet, jumpy, curious person, so I chose a Bobcat for my fursona. Someone who is more social or clever might use a coyote; etc. It's just all up to the individual. Most people use dogs/foxes/wolves because they're the generic "pretty" choice.

I don't know how the hell you are so accurate with the damn lasso tool. It seems impossible because it's sped up, but when I use it, i get it almost perfect and then I fuck up a spot and have to trace the damn thing over again. The reason I hate PS is you need a certain degree of both technical prowess and training to use it right. But then again I don't even own the full thing, so I guess that helps. It sucks that the only people qualified enough to give help are unwilling to. (Sry for offnce)

@deadithink "Only people?" Hardly. There are hundreds if not thousands of websites dedicated to Photoshop tutorials at a quick Google search. It's not like I have some super unique secret I use :p

@deadithink The lasso tool takes getting used too, but once you do, it's a powerful and time efficient tool. I suggest not drawing the entire marking at one time, add on at parts. There should be an option for the additional selection for the lasso near the top. If you mess up, you can also clean it up by selecting what you want gone and pressing the delete button.

I just have to say, the way you do the back lighting is amazing! I've never seen it done like that before.

After you did the main beams of light coming from the lighting behind the trees, and you did the horizontal lines as texture and shape and whatnot, did you then fade the in by changing the contrast/colour range of that, or was it just a case of you lowering the opactiy?
