police tryed to block the demonstration and they got pelted with brick and rocks fired stun grenade an smoke bomb enough to piss-off de protester even more... protester went west from that point on smashing things like hotel windows along the way

This is correct. Protesters threw stun grenades and smoke bombs at riot police blocking access to rue St. Denis below Sherbrooke street. I have it on HD video on my YouTube channel, shot with my Nikon D90. The police *might* have used a smoke bomb to disperse the crowd after this but I think that most if not all of the stun grenades and smoke bombs were thrown by protesters. Unless of course these stun grenade and smoke bomb throwing protesters were "agents provocateurs" of the police. ;-)

police did illegal searches and blocked several metro lines before the demo, then as the people went from the street to the park, the demo got "illegal" and stuff started flying towards the cops, then bulk of the group headed south and got chased by riot cops for 3 hours. The vast majority of the destruction was aimed at the cops or, to a lesser extent, importent corporations (hotels, banks, gambling company, etc) some damage was done to expensive cars. I think this demo was kept pretty clean.

the few persons looking to do damage to smaller businesses and loot them were boo'ed or physically stopped in most occasion, that was very good.
