  • just wondering is this showing how acrylics are done? or how a rebalance is done?

  • Where did you purchase your acrylic brush and what size is it please?

  • you are amazing! how much would you charge to do this?

  • where can i get a nail piercing bit?

  • Lovely nails. Thanks for the video.

  • u did an amazing job

  • OMG I´m loving your gold nails :)

  • Are u based in the uk??? Would love you to do my nails!!!

  • i have recently started to do my own nails, im pretty impressed considering ive so far only done 3 sets, but im certainly not an expert yet, but ive noticed this time that my cuticle look a little dry and damaged, i dont have that oil youy have used as ive not seen it anywhere at my shops, is there any other oil i can use or any other alternative that i may already have in my home?

  • @sosaidsam Unless you have proper training as a nail tech i wouldn't suggest you do your own nails. The products we use are exclusive to us as they are for professional use only therefore you are unable to purchase them unless you are a licenced nail tech.

  • @sosaidsam I know you posted this comment six months ago but just incase you didn't find anything for your cuticles there is an oil by Sally Hanson that works wonders and you can apply it as many times as you need to :) thought I would let you know

  • Viendote trabajar parece tan facil... que bonitos sube mas videos de uñas por favor, gracias.

  • Hay girlfriend :-)

  • Flawaless

  • It's so fantastic the new system of no filingfor the natural nail I just love it it was the only thing that was a 'con' for me.

  • Your nails are stunning but the video wouldve been more helpful if the camera was closer to the nail when creating the smile. Thanks.

  • pretty hands

  • Jesus all the questions, get training ffs if your interested in doing nails. Beautiful job they are perfect. Keep up the good work.

  • acrylic nails for many years in the work area? I would like to know more about the acrylic can give me some basic tips to my mail is luana_ana_95@netcabo.ptThanks

  • Sorry but erm when i go to the nail shop what am i meant to say o them? am i ment to sai a full set of acriliq nails ?

its my first time getting them done x

  • just say hi id like a full set and they will ask white tips? you say yes or say what other colors do you have and some places do both so they will say gel or acrylic and thats up to you, but i have noticed when you go somewhere they usually do a better job with gel.

  • Soo they cant fall of ?

And how old do u have to be to get them ?

  • i see that you are using brisa products ,,,is the acrylic liquid easier on the nose ,,,is it odor less or just not as strong ,,if not do you know of one (acrylic liquid) that is odro less ,,,thankyou

  • Hi, just read that you were after an odourless liquid? NSI does an odourless system called NSI SPA liquid, Ive used it and the only real obvious difference I noticed was you have to use the product alot wetter. Hope it helps xx

  • u r fab at doin nails! im gettin a kit for acrylics it's my first time, any tips? thanks :)

  • if you get one don't getthe kiss brand at walmart i thought it sucked a lot lol...go to sallys and they have little sets that bring everything depending on what nail ur intrested in you might have to buy the nails and glue seprate but the brand i tried out after i uses the kiss brand was ASP (ASPIRE) it's reeeeeally good.

  • thankyou i also noticed by shoppin around that opi has one too (clarite) thanks again wonderful work :)

  • Hiya, were did you get the little pink finger/nail protectors?? Great idea.

  • Ii was just wondering when you but the acrylic set do you get the pink powder aswell? thnx

  • How long did it take you to get this good?

  • Hi and thanks.

I've been a nailtech for just about ten years.

It took a short time to learn how, but after ten years I still learn a little more with every set.

  • You mean SHE is YOUR idol? haha.

  • I love your videos, very well done! I have a question, when i put UV top coat over coloured acrylic nails and cures them under a UV lamp i can see that when i wipe them the nail lacquer (or nail art)will come on the lint free wipe (just few colour),is it maybe i'm not putting a good coat of UV top coat? Thanks!

  • nice work hun! Nice to see other techs are doing the job properly, very impressed!

  • do you think you could make a video on making clear gel tips? in stead of the tip being white, could it be clear?

  • hi, I´m from Costa Rica and I have to say that your work is very neat, it looks perfect.

Congratulations!!!!!! I also want to know if you have any trick for removing the acrylic without damaging the nail plate. Thanks.

  • Hi, your techniques are fantastic! I am from Australia and have just started learning how to do acrylics, and your videos are very inspirational. I am having a bit of trouble with filing though, i seem to somehow get the walls and cuticles and cut them, particularly when I'm blending in the false tips with the real nails, and when i need to file down just after applying the acrylic. Any advise please? Should I file in a certain direction? I hope that one day I can do nails just like you! :)

  • Does anybody know what that gold is on Julie's tips are? is that polish or acrlyic? If polish what is the name? Please!!! Thanks

  • Hi, The gold is nail grafix glitters mixed with acrylic and the color is called midas.

    Julie xx

  • Ooh, kay...thanks soo much!!! I think that is just gorgeous!! I've been teaching myself to do acrylics and doing pretty well and haven't experimented yet with the colors. I have been doing the basic pink and whites. So do I just mix the Midas with a clear acrylic for the tips? Any help you could give would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Beautiful work! I'm a CND nail tech as well, and I do both gel and acrylics - although acrylic is my favourite material to work with ;o)

I'd like to know what brush you're using. It doesn't look too big and I'm getting a little tired of my big one ;o)

    Thanks

  • Hi, the brush is a no.8 that I picked up in my local Capital Beauty Supplies.

Thanks for being so positive, I'm glad you like my work and I prefer acrylic too.

  • Very fasinating!! I'd love to know what is the name of color on tips of Julie's nails. Is it polish or acrylic...or? Very beautiful!! Thanks!

  • I love your nail work can you please tell what number and type of brush and will you be making anymore video soon do you have any nail art ??

  • wow they looked perfect and at the end i did't even see you file! good job!

  • Wow hw nice :P! in da uk, we dont do the white tip like that..we airbrush it on..thats properply why the tips do not last very long!

  • exellent

  • you have magic hands-beautyful!!!!!!!!!

  • I love watching your work can u tell me what beauty school did u go 2 because i wanted 2 b a nail tech 2. Thank u. Very good work

  • I love your work I watch your videos all the time can you please tell what number and type of brush you are using also can you apply clear gel over acrylice to seal in nail art.

  • NICE.

  • NICE JOB=)

  • hi, i absolutely love your videos and found them very helpful :) i was just wondering when doing acrylics is it a must to put the fingers under the blue light?? please reply

  • Thanks for watching.

The blue light is only required for setting UV Gel and not for setting Acrylic. On this occasion I used a UV gel top coat to give the nails a high gloss shine.

  • what type of brush was that a NXT round?

  • What is the purpose of the SolarOil afterwards though? I know the stuff's meant for cuticles but why is it applied to them at the very end?

  • I watch this every few days, it is excellent.

thank you. Please do more, PLEASE

  • Does anybody know what acrylic nails to use temporarily. I want nails that I can put on for a day or two and than take off. But I don't want some cheap adhesive.

  • Fantastic well done you are a excelent nail tech x

  • I am just learning how to do Acrylic Nails, I tried Gel Nails but found it way to hard, your video is Awsome,I have never seen Rebalance done before,I cant wait to try it my self. For all of those who read the last post from someone saying to checkout a web site called IKENDONAILS dot COM ~ DONT bother I am still now picking my jaw up off the floor,The way they do nails is CRAZY,if you are wanting to learn the right way that web site is not for you!

  • she really knows wahat shes doing great job

  • my nail tech does it differently.

but I have stripes of pink in my nails.

  • The stripes of pink in your nails are from your tech aggresively filing at your natural nail plate. It's harmful, and unnecessary.

The stripes are called "Rings of Fire," and are damage of your natural nails.

  • I work for Creative Nail Design in Vista. We are now CND.

  • where do you get the brushes?

  • nails are cute! i have mines done now

  • metoo, my mom does nails, and she did em for me, i'm 15

  • I notice that she doesn't use a drill... what happens if your nails lift? How do you get rid of the lines that lift if you don't drill?

  • these nails looked beautiful. I am having trouble getting a clean smile line when i am doing a rebalance, the product always seems to set too quick any tips??

  • try this: apply a layer of liquid on the nail before the acrylic mix

  • oh yea it works pretty godd ahah

  • This is not good practice. Over exposure could occur!

  • That is such a bad idea. Overexposure to the monomer is not recommended.

  • ladies ladies.. notre is confused. she doesn't know what a rebalance is. she's thinking of full set, and she doesn't know that the video was slightly edited so we wouldn't then yawn and post comments like "that was too long.. why didn't they edit it?".. LOL..

  • notredameluvr10 if you cant tell the video has been sped up so it wouldnt have taken her 5 minutes to do the nails

    great job by the way

  • notradamelover10 maybe you should switch. just because she is fast and talented doens't mean you gotta hate.

  • Excellent vid, and the nails look beautiful. For all of those who get their nails done, and they're not done like this, i'd change salon!

  • also by the way notredameluvr10 she never said she was doing a full set?!? not sure where your got that from... Tips are only ever stuck on in fullsets... and also cant you see her mixing the monomer with the powder?

  • just an idea for you xxblondebella instead of using a cuticle softener just use the end of your file and and push it gently into the cuticle... it will also scratch the odd bits of skin from the nails... careful not to go against the grain of the nail though cause you dont want to break the structure... it works well for me cause then i dont have to worry about washing the softener off... just an idea anyway :)

anyway beautiful job... And yes it is professionaly done dont listen to her :)

  • i dont think this is professionaly done when i got mine done they glued them on half way then then used a mixture to fill in the rest of the nail. Also the nails were really long and they cut them to my desired length. It also took about an hour not only five minutes These nails look store bought and i dont know how long they would last . . . They are very pretty though

  • wait a minute, they glued what on? This video is how i was trained to do a rebalance aswell, it looks fine to me.

  • Oh my word. These weren't extensions but a rebalance, which means that the acrylic is applied to the existing nail. I think you should watch the video again, and pay a bit more attention second time around!

  • This is a professional job notre. What are you talking about?

  • I have been a nail professional for 7 years and have never seen a brisa top coat put on top of acrylic. What would be the reasons for this? Great nails by the way!!!

  • To give a fab shine to the L&P and to make it less porous.

  • AND you don't have to buff them to a high shine, AND the high shine LASTSSSSS. Very pretty...

  • I get my nails done and thats not how they do my nails.

  • Can you do a happy face video?

  • Now there's an idea. Thanks.

  • Great thanks , I am in the middle of doing a creative course, the foundation level and it is the smile lines I am having most trouble with :0)

  • Hi are you julie if you are i was wondering could you do my nails for my gradtion for me?

  • Very sweet Joe.
