any recommendation on sand tires? it would be so cool to see a series like that

@sniping12 Sand tires very much depend on what machine and whether you're a hill climber or a bowl shooter. I've become a very non-paddle guy in recent years leaving just the good radials on either the LTZ or YFZ or Raptor. But, before that I loved the 6 paddle Skat Trac.

We did a huge sand tire test but that was many years ago and the video won't transfer over ;-(

I'm looking forward to a further review/info once you've "put them on the trail". I have the same 850XP Touring (2010) and love it! Some bigger, badder tires would be a nice upgrade!

@IAMRONIN Seven sets of tires is an almost overwhelming predicament but we're taking our time ;-)

how did you compare these against the bighorns? they wear faster?

@HugeRedneck7 First, remember that the better the performance the faster the wear. The newer Terra Cross have a thicker carcass and a harder rubber compound so they should last longer than the old ones. Although the Bighorns last forever, they perform horribly compared to other tires.
