Not really. Britain has always been a white island and people from far away shores are not entirely accepted as British by the insidious population. I am a young woman of French/Irish/American Indian ancestry who was born in America, and I wanted to thank all of the people who believe in us and our new pres -We haven't ALL supported many of the decisions of the past-We want to be the progressive ideal, and show that America is not a land of "Americans", but a land of immigrants.
