  • That is a damned fine idea! Superb engineering, too!

  • thats a nice 4x4 add on ...very cool all the way around .knowing the engine wouldnt be to bad but right on dude far as the idle goes ,,it must need to be up for the hydraulics

  • Comment removed

  • how in the world does he keep the driveshaft connected to the front axle?! i could see that being done in a 2WD, or even a hydraulic 4WD system, but....wow!!

btw, what motor does that beast have? sounds like its idled a bit high...

  • @TheBrokenWing1 The driveshaft is telescoping,The engine,I don't know what it was but it runs on propane.

  • @mrpeabdy1974 ah, i see, the high sounding idle must be a side-effect?

  • @TheBrokenWing1 It's probably a hollowed out driveshaft with a groove(just so it spins).

  • @TheBrokenWing1 its probably got a pto to run the hydraulics to slide the front forward and backwards

and the pto idle's up the motor itself to power the hydraulic pump.

  • so you can nudge some other car from Behind and claim you did not even touch the acelerator :D

  • To uh..... To give better approach angle.....

  • the, uh...the front wheels just went forward. why would they do that?

  • 1946 ?

  • @memcu30 I believe so, yes. It's a friend of mine's truck.

  • i can think of a hundred times that feature would have come in handy when rock crawling.. pretty cool!!

  • that's nuts

  • Dowwnload the audio from this video at thetunify doht cohm.

  • GTFO!!!! I have never seen anything like that before!! 8 0

  • you engineer that in your shop and ttc always seems to be mopar scarce and i wanna see what that 408 could do

  • I remember you from my days on RCC... Nice rig man! Two hearty thumbs UP!!

  • That thing is badass how does the drive shaft work?

  • thats alot of trick hydro and slide work.

  • It's like stretching out of bed in the morning

  • is that a black guy in there?? haha

  • @thehuntman47 What's wrong with that?

  • @thehuntman47 Your just another redneck asshole.

  • anything that would freak the living crap out of my neighbours is cool by me!

  • I like the truck an all, but....why does it do that???

  • @bmxstreet6 For wheel base...to change the wheel base length for different types of wheeling. I do have other videos of that truck in action uploaded on here. This truck was also entered in the top truck challenge by the four wheel magazine

  • @mrpeabdy1974 Yeah, i can see that being useful in rock crawling or on certain trails. It looks like it has alot of planing into it.

  • People here is the main idea behind this bad ass setup. Picture yourself on your hands and knees climbing up some rocks. You reach out your arms and grab something and pull the rest of your body up the rocks. That's the idea behind this. The front end reaches out and hopefully will grab something and pull the rear of the truck forward.

  • thats f-ing sweet!!!!

    must have telescopic driveshalves

  • impressive!

  • Roger Elmo is the man! He always has the coolest trucks.

  • Holy'O'McFuck thats cool!

  • i voted number one for this guy to be in next years TTC hope he gets in

  • @countryrebel5 he got in btw..

  • @countryrebel5 just because his frame can stretch? its cool but that wont really put him at the top of the ttc competators

  • every day i think i have seen it all. and everyday i am wrong.

  • if you dont get it, you never will. quit asking what the point is.

  • @m16figure8 well if ppl never asked questions how would they learn?

  • @Tj1056 i guess i didnt think they were trying to learn? was a dickish comment tho, my apology

  • @m16figure8 epic fail

  • wtf??

  • OOOooooohhhhhh!!! DODGE>ford,gm

  • Badass.

  • 4x4 with cattapillar action!!!!

  • j ai vu pas mal de modif dans ma vie mais ca !!!!!!! je trouve ca genial ! bravo ! moi ca m intéresse de voir le mécanisme d un peux plus pres :) merci bye .

  • hey just wanna say that this is an awsome truck. i wanted to do that with my buggy but ended up not goin through with it

  • interesting....

id like to see the teloscopic drive shaft assembly ha ha...

  • i gotta seee it in action. Can you adjust while on the trail or does it have to be on flate ground. Looks like it would work out pretty saweet for diff obsticals

  • Go through my list of movies, there is at least two videos featuring this truck, one of them has no sound but it's pretty good video.

  • okay now that was cool

  • how exactly does the driveshaft stay connected?

  • adjustable

  • its prolly a slider shaft

  • What is the point? What a morron....... SWG & LWB is the shit.

  • The point is being able to change wheel base as different obstacles come into play.

Why don't you actually watch it in action in the other videos?

  • these two probably drive cars thats why they ask stupid questions. that is sweet how many days it take you

  • whats the point?

  • You would need to go rock crawling to understand about wheel base etc..I have another video of it in action.

  • Well if eveything was the same turd you drive the world would be a little boring.

  • I thought I was seeing things, but that s cool......

  • Hats off man, that is some pretty genius stuff!

  • It's a transformer lol! It's cool but what's the point of spending money on it?

  • What's the point fo spending money on anything really?cause that's what some see as fun or interesting.

  • Whoa , i thought i was fuckin trippin balls for a sec. Thats really cool.

  • How does the front driveshaft extend that far? one hell of a long slip joint? or only 2wd

  • It's square shaft...and it slides too.

  • interresting,,,, what years the body

  • Definitely never seen that before. Awesome.

  • AHH!! wtf trippy... what is the point of this?

  • okay

crossing left wheels ang right wheels, larger

sprawl as well as Humvee :-DDD

  • That is genius.

  • lol whut??

  • Well adapted Idea my friend. I watched your attempt on the rocky hillside in the other. Dual steering and frame extension would be a bonafide asset where I hunt moose and bear......major deactivations make it difficult to negotiate some of the old roads but an extending frame would counteract the problem significantly.

  • WTF! now thats some cool shit right there I dont care who yarr!

  • holy f#ck man

  • i've never seen a frame do that bad ass

  • dear god.....will you like, adopt me or something:)!!!!

  • If you guys could see it in action you would most definitly see its usefulness.

  • whats the point

  • that is fucking crazy! i would love to look at that thing up close and see how the hell all that works

  • sick

  • That's pretty darn cool.

  • How the heck does that work?!? Must be an adjustable drive shaft... weird.

  • Dude! thats so awesome! does he have a build thread on rcc?

  • I think there is look on the pics section for trucks.
