  • I know 1Tim is pseudoepigrapha, but within the 7 undisputed Pauline epistles, are there passages where xians claim that Paul claims 'godhood' status of christ? Clearly, Paul thinks of his christ as supernatural, special, & in some sense divine, but since the 7 epistles are the earliest xian writings, I would highly doubt his view of his christ would have reached the level of that of 'john' or Ignatius of Antioch. Thanks.

  • Nice work.

  • you are right. i have UBS greek new testament, westcott and hort, nestle aland greek text 27th all of this greek text editiors said original codex alexandrinus scribe wrote 'hos' instead of 'theos'.only textus receptus and byzantine manuscripts have'theos' along with corrector of codex alexandrinus. well done!

  • it would have been a lot better if you scrolled down a bit to chapter 4 verse 3 where theos can be viewed there for comparison.

  • Coincidently, I was just covering this same topic on 1Tim3:16 in a video I'm making showing why the KJV translation of the verse, is wrong. Good presentation. Fav'd.
