@jonewer Date are all over the map but The Fruit Nut and Berry Inventory states 1830 Seedling of Ribston Pippin. Sometimes when I start talking off hand in front of the lens my memory goes bad. In this case it did. Hope it doesn't detract from the main point I was trying to make, pruning apples.
This is a great video and it takes a lot of the mystery out of pruning apple trees. It would be nice to include a section on fire blight- prevention, identification etc.
On youtube I can't find a good apricot pruning video. Any suggestions?
Cox's Orange dates back to around 1825. First sold commercially in 1850.
