  • Yes it is a beautiful song and especially a beautiful Jewish prayer, Lu Yehi. There are even prettier versions of the song, slower, the way it was written & first performed after Israel was cowardly attacked (yet again) on their Holiest day on the calendar, Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement, in 1973. Thank you for this wonderful production and sentiment.

  • I loved the dance, but Lu Yehi(Let It Be) is a folk song written by Naomi Shemer after the Yom Kippur war and is not a prayer.
