  • Have not traveled on the Southwest Chief in years, but it's a great video! Love the shots of the open country and especially in ABQ with the craft tables out with their beautiful jewelry, etc. I'm going back to MO this summer to my hometown in Sedalia for the state fair and taking the Empire Builder from Pasco, WA to Chicago then on to St. Louis,then Sedalia. I have a room reserved so it will be a nice trip for sure :) Marvelous video,,,,well done.....loved it!

  • don't want to be devil's advocate, but European trains and Asian trains tend to have a higher safety record, on-time reliability, and Faster speeds. However no one can beat the awesome raw power of an American Loco.
