    Hahahahahahhahaaa!

  • @bayyagg we have been put in the top ten list for most visited country and are number one happiest therefore its a contridiction to say no one comes here because everyday when i go out in the streeet the tour buses come round three at a time overcrowded with tourists therefore dont spread lies and you cant stick a roof on history just restore it to stop the rain affecting it like come on even the simpletons in the world know that :P :D

  • why is there a bill for restoration, i mean old buildings get destroyed, face it.

  • @ChejaMones7382 Buy a dildo....

  • Such a beautiful country! Both nature and monuments.

  • The real tragedy in Ireland was the damage done to the celtic/pictish monuments of the ancients by St. Patrick. All in the name of religion of course.

  • @redcloak676

    ah, stuff it!

  • probably a mix, but I would assume they dont look as different as other cetlic pagan symbols and statutes found through out europe.

  • what a pity, in my country, we have the same problem, lot of monuments which need to be repaired, and almost no money....

  • really, this is whats thought as important.

REALITY . Everything and everyone had a time of birth and death. let it be!

  • animals don't exist

  • wow i wanna travel there, i hope its not all starbucks and mickey d's by now.......itl be sad if we set off a reaction that wipes us all off, along with our buildings and monuments....but maybe these stone monuments will stand up to it

  • ROY KEANE

  • Those monuments ar gorgeous!!!

  • RUBBISH american voice over

  • @Bumblybee256

    Aw, c'mon, she sounds hot

  • @crossbone No, it's sounds cheap and gimmicky!

  • clonmacnosey

  • Why should the government take care of the people? Should not the people rebuild things for themselves? If it means so much to them why do the not put their own money together? Could it be the welfare mentality? I love those castles, but I would not want the government to run it. Then the government would own them and we would not have them for our own.

  • Does not the government exist to serve the people? And if pple would buy old castles, it is highly likely they would then use them only for themselves, or give high entrance prices and commercialise them.

  • @GermBritScotsIrish15

Uh, the government is there to serve the people. I'm sure with the taxes they've paid, getting help from the government is really helping itself to assist with maintaining it's national heritage and identity.

Shut your one-sided, rabid politcs out of it.

  • bye bye this is the best part of the human race past that sooner or later all that we see would oneday go back into the earth.

  • super............

  • :] BARDO COOL

  • All historical momuments should be preserved, no matter their location. This just shows one situation. The Irish government should do something and not just hope private donorsand NGOs step in. A bit ridiculous.

  • that's nature... why should we stop the nature. We have our memory.. ins't that enough? why should we keep all the old things... in some years we will have no more space for new things... just let the curcuit of nature roll...

  • Maybe if they spent less money on booze they'd be able to afford to keep all their rocks from decaying.

  • Use it or lose it...words to live by.

  • I have been to these exact video locations in Ireland and it changed my life. I love Ireland and always will.

  • Beautiful =)

I would give anything to leave shitty US and live there

  • @TheCrowdsVoice All it costs is money. Go for it.

  • "Irish culture"? Whiskey, potatoes, and fighting?

  • you are an ignorant asshole

  • what are you then? a muslim? what culture do muslims have besides suicide bombing, terrorizing, and hating other cultures?

  • You must have your kilt in a bunch, lol

  • Paddy, where'd you go? Off to find your pot of gold? LOL, the rainbow isn't there, it's your drunkenness causing you to see things!

  • Well, you're a pathetic, narrow-minded troll who must genuinely believe stereotypes. You clearly know absolutely nothing about the world around you.

  • I certainly know more about the world around me than you, Seamus. Afterall, I do have my peripheral vision still, since I'm not piss-drunk and full of potatoes.

  • @NumaNuma187 Your the genuis who thinks gravity is a lie arent you

  • I have no idea what you're talking about.

  • NumaNuma187, you're a racist, you don't even know these people. For all you know they might not even drink alcohol. From reading the comments above, I know you're probably going to reply with one of your stereotypes because you're that narrow-minded, so I'm going to tell you now that I'm not going to waste any more time replying to you. By the way, I'm Irish and don't drink alcohol, and don't like potatoes.

  • @FrankFrankieFrankton lol i dont believe you are irish if you dont like potatoes haha

  • @demonlore1234

You're a funny fucker aren't you. I'm just loving the originality of these guys.

  • @nedicuss

Whoo-hooo-hooo..... Went right over my head for a second there! First him, then you! :P

  • @NumaNuma187 oh yay some one who hates the irish woooo not really do you know how many irish people you offended im irish and i hate beer and hate potatoes

  • @NumaNuma187

Yeah, I figured your reply would be about as ridiculous as that. I was right :D Discover a hobby, something to keep you occupied and to stop you pissing people off on the internet, anonymously for a while.

  • Its not surprising that Irish culture here has slipped over centuries of colonisation. Looking forward to those 72 virgins? Islam - helping young worthless kids get laid since 600 AD, or so. Allahu Akbar indeed. Maybe you should speed up the process? Go find a large dose of ratpoison, prick.

  • @ramu50 - If you think that 3D renderings can do better than seeing monuments up close, then you are a fool. Why ever see a live performance when you can listen to a recording? Or see a painting when you could look at a photograph? Clearly these things mean something, otherwise millions of people would not go see them.

  • sukx da gov wont give much money :(

dese buildings r monumental nd u dnt ever get 2 see things like this further in the future if dey dnt get more help :/

  • i hope to visit Ireland one day...looks awesome...anyone have any recomendations for special places to visiti

  • It's a real pity that the government is unwilling to give more money. Perhaps they should consider how much these buildings attract tourists and bring in money.

  • Clonmacnosie??? Lmao!!! xD

  • this place reminds me of hyrule castle from legend of zelda

  • Thats sad that the government won't help out with more than 2% of the restoration. It's really nice to try to maintain buildings that are that old.

  • Amen brother.

  • <---I grew up in the US. I have visited Ireland more than once and traveled throughout a lot of the EU nations as well as lived in Austria. I can tell you that if the US had the kind of history that Europe has that I would be one to vote that the government made it a requirement upon themselves to maintain the buildings.

  • 1:03 ClonmacNOSIE? XD

I'm Irish, and I can tell you that it's said ClonmacNOISE.

  • What goes up, must come down.

  • Clon-mac-nosey?

Jesus, they could have at least asked someone how to pronounce it. It's pronounced as it's spelt: clon-mac-noise.

  • 1.58 - it's not "deteriation" it's "deterioration."

  • @ramu50 Well in Ireland (and in Northern Ireland), we're not a big country, we don't have a lot else to bring in money and increase our economy like food or the latest technology. We use our best features, we're a world heritage site and it's something to be proud of. Think of how many people go to Rome and Egypt and Venice to see the ancient monuments and architecture.

  • this is good but still.. i'm subscribed and from canada.. and i cant watch the coolest looking videos because of where i live... NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC! can you make all vids avail to canada?

  • @maliciousdevice i know what you mean :( i live in ireland myself and i can't watch 2/3 of their clips because they're banned. I was surprised when I saw I could watch this one

  • Irish I were drunk.

  • This should be made known in every "Irish" pub and at every St. Patrick's Day parade and celebration in America. Private donations could take care of this.

  • that is ashame. There is irish history written over 1000 years...a monument today still standing...and no money? bizarre.

  • i lived in that 0:35

  • The Irish youth have started acted too much like the rest of the UK's youth. It's a shame really.

  • @triczka I know it's horrible, I really hate to see it happening 2. An 8 year old threw an empty plastic bottle through my living room window last week.

That sort of thing never happens here! It happens in england where no one gives a crap about anyone else.

  • 0:13 is an old gravejard i was there!!!

  • Good video, thanks for sharing.

  • don't be a douche

  • ahhh no there not u fucking pussy. why, why are they?
