Yeah it was, when the Narrator's going to the (I think) brain parasite group that Chloe's in. The temple with the seven doors, find your power animal, he says explicitly it's a penguin and they slide through the tunnels and the galleries. Given it doesn't occur in a cave, but many things are different from the movie to the book, many of them superficial.
