How funny ... I saw Gray Gardens there too. That film is funny and sad, all at the same time. I was in a constant state of amazement through the entire film.
PS-I'd have loved to have heard Dick Hyman playing that organ at the Castro!!! (Though, of course, this guy is fabulous) Very surreal how it rises and seemed somewhat Lynch-esque^^
Oh I just LOVE the organ at the Castro! I went with my friend Peter Berlin to see the re-play of Gray Gardens and was thrilled to see the magestic organ (Castro's not Peter's...LOL)--RISE from the floor. That theater's so COLD though-need a parka!
