I really liked Mr Wakabayashi explanation and how he placed it in a historical context just using a few words. Additionally, I also liked how he was able to recognize how multicultural Kendo has become. That is definitely a good thing as long as it keeps its Japanese roots and we all do good/ proper Kendo. A really nice video. Kudos for Canada’s national kendo team.
In Kendo, Winner is forbidden to be proud for his winning. It is strict manners. Japanese Budo
needs this manners. Suppose a Kendo fighter does winning performance, the winning should be canceled.
